In the name of development, dams,ports,mines,industrial complexes,highways,urbanisation and modern culture, huge tolls of forest are being destroyed and being taken away every day.Besides, human-animal conflict and the need for preservation of wild life is a matter of great concern, with increasing focus on modernisation, causing rapid loss of forest. Can you throw some light on how to strike an effective balance between the process of modernisation/development and the need to protect foresst and wild life environment?
