Are you opening your mail every time you are log in to mylot? If so, what are your actions when you receive the mylot digest? 1. Ignore it 2. Open it and look for the discussions 3. Open it and look for the discussions and follow them on mylot 4. Open it and look for the discussions and follow them and response I ignored them before, but now that I am addicted already here, I chose number 4. Though I could not really response to all of them.

I get the Digest, but I usually ignore it and go to discussions that my friends have started or something that catches my eye in the recent discussions. I have also been responding to a lot of discussions that have not had any responses for four years now just to get them cleared off the list. Most of these discussions were started by people that were not very active on here and have since apparently abandoned their accounts, but I was very surprised that there were actually some discussions on the list that were started by currently active members. It felt good responding to those discussions, because at least they got one response. When I am bored, though, I really should check out what is in the Digest, but I just do not think about it. Maybe the next time I will remember this discussion and check it out.

Thanks purple. I went to the no responses section-----not like before, there some there just seconds ago.... I will try to do the same too... as to encourage mylotter with no response creates more nice topic soon.....

Hi purple, I am also checking those no responses years ago--------but how could we determine if they are active till now???? With the digest, I always check them everyday because I am always following the hot and top discussions and figuring which would be the few figured in the digest at the end of then day. I am just so excited to know some friends of ours are there.

If I see a number other than single digits in the post count (the number next to their name), then I will check their profile to see when was the last time that they logged on to myLot. There have been some that have had high post counts, and these members have obviously been active, especially since some of them had logged in less than a day before I responded to the discussion. I guess because the discussions were from when they first started on here, they did not get any responses.

hi p rimeaque86 I am now deleting everything as I just go into friends started and go through there to respond to all that appeal to me, then go on to the other tabs systematically and enjoy myself all day here, My email thingy does not work so I just wo rk inside mylot and find all the hot ones, my friends, todays top and all the rest, I do keep up as I have most all day most every day. You see I am retired and a senior citizen with lots of time and little money so spend all day here instead of couch potatoing with the boob tube. cheers.

Hi my dear friend hatley, how are you? thanks for dropping here. Sorry for the delay... I was out there... huhuhu, I am sweating, so hot... by the way, that is the easiest thing we can do... work directly here in mylot specially if the internet speed is fast... lucky for you my friend... and why your email does not work? Maybe I can help fix that hehehehe. And you know I've once read your discussion where you told them your age... oh, you are very lucky my dear... you are alive and kicking, I thank God for that... your heart and body is strong... I think you are even much stronger than me... my knees are always aching huhuhu....

I answer everything from email my friend, the Digest included. Most times, there is nothing there that catches my eye but sometimes there is maybe one discussion I can enter into. May I point out that if someone joins in a discussion they write a response, the word response is a noun. Or, someone might respond to a discussion, the word respond is a verb. The first response is a thing, the second is an action. That's your English lesson for today...hope it helps.

Thank you my friend. Why should I get offended with a very good teacher???? Hahahaha, I wish you could tell me more about it. Everyday of my life is learning and fun... More power MsTickle. Have a great day ahead!!!!

Hi MsTickle Oh, thank you for that my friend. Verbs and Nouns are really confusing... You are the first one that told me that. Response is a noun Respond is a verb---therefore responded is it's past tense. Oh thank you. I got it MsTickle. It's long ago I learned about that in High School, not much in college. Sentence: I got their responses so I responded them immediately.

I receive the Digest every day too. I open it and see which discussions I missed and if they seem interesting I will open them up and have a look and sometimes respond. I also notice who started them and often I raise a smile for a friend and new Lotter who made it to the Digest. I am happy for them because I can still remember the first time one of my discussions made it there. I took a screenshot of it

Wow, I missed mine my friend... I was fortunate enough that time that mine was included too, but I do not mind much the digest before I erased it without even noticing until one friend of ours here informed me in my discussion...

hi prime. usually, when mylot digest comes in to my inbox, i go for 2, open and look for the discussions included in it. i only response to some if i find it interesting or it interest me. but what is the most exciting part of mylot digest, is when you see your own discussions included. so what do you do or what will you do it you find out that your discussion is also there?

I chose no. 4 Open it and look for the discussions and follow them and response Thats what i always do.. i would love to know if they like my discussions or my response,, i love interaction with fellow mylotter and not just replying on one response and nothing else... Its better to have a nice conversation together with fellow mylotter..

Great my friend... In would be very thankful to those mylotters who comment back and not just single response (but I am still grateful to those would response once, they have reasons for that...) I am just sad everytime I could not make the response back as early as I can... we always experience power cut here... everyday... sometimes my connection suck... but I would always try to follow every discussion... that is a good start for a good friendship and healthy conversation...

Like you I want to follow and response to them again... as a sign of appreciation... and this is a healthy discussion... Anyway... i am thankful to God that we have no power failure for 2 days now... yesterday and today... God bless you pals...

Hi primeaque86, I turned off the notification for the myLot digest a long time ago. Most of what makes it to the digest these days is of little interest. If there is an interesting discussion, I will find it, as it will appear on the homepage or in my friends started section.
• Philippines
6 Mar 10
Well then you could not see if your discussion appeared on the digest? But that is all right then... have a nice day my friend....

I'm like you. I'm addicted, and I love getting the emails, so I do number four, and respond to them all. Because I would want them to do the same for me, and they do.

Well, before I turned the notification off, I responded to each and every one, but after I became more active, I couldn't handle all of them, so I had to change the notification, so I wouldn't get all those. It seems to me to be much easier and I have more time to respond on Mylot.

When I open my email and I receive a message from mylot digest, I just ignore it. I really have no further knowledge of what it is all about but the next time I'll receive one, I'll already pay much attention to it... ^_^

Hi my friend... I just ignored them before... but it's worth to open... if in case we do not able to participate those discussions... I know that all of them are all helpful to us... if we feel not to comment, then it's worth reading...

I would have to choose this one. 3. Open it and look for the discussions and follow them on mylot I read through the digest and open any that look interesting and then respond to them if they still look like I can offer something useful to the discussion. Sometimes I open them just to see what others have replied if it is a question about something that i would like to know the answer to. Mostly though these days, half of them in the digest I have already replied to as they had been started by friends and I had already received a notification email about it.

Hi RawBill, good my friend... I found out that digest is really important, all of the topics on it contains helpful from many mylotters who imparted their knowledge on it... I think now I have to make a folder for all the mylot digets I received...
