What is the first thing you notice when you meet a person?

I would have to say the way they speak. I can't really see what people look like, but how a person speaks, the sound of their voice the tones they use. Those things can say a lot about a person as well. And, usually by the first couple of sentences I can usually get a good first impression on them.

Looks really matter to me, so thats what I check out first. Facial looks, how their body is (if it's a girl ;] ). After that, I check out how their voice and smell is. A person has to have a nice voice and a good smell, odor is a really big deal for me. After that, I'll check out their personality and it goes downhill from that point on. But I don't really care that much for any of these traits. these are the things that I first notice and take note of but if someone doesn't look too good or something, the personality is always good so I wait to judge someone after I've met them.

First thing that catches my attention is usually face and physical parameters, unless the person is wearing something really unusual. I like to examine peoples faces, to see their emotions, to understand, what might they be thinking of. After examining the appearance of the person, I then take a look at person's clothes and accessories. It's interesting to analyze people that way, I like to spectate the crowd.

my dear very fantastic question that i sea the first way of talking and manner then other it is right the shoes sow the personalty of someone but it is not a fact of every where because if someone is a engineer of any building so may be his shoes will be dirty there is no doughty so we can not say every where.

the first things i will notice is the face and the appearance of the person . and then the style and his speech and certain other things . but mostly i will say that i will see the personality of the person and the way he dresses . i think these things give us some idea about what kind of person he is but not all the times .

I usually notice first the eyes of a person then behaviour. Eyes because being a girl its a best way to judge how the person is..... then comes behaviour to see how the persons behaves, best way to know the attitude of a person

When i first meet a pn I notice their smile and eyes. You can tell a lot from a person eyes. Then as I get to know them I observe how they interact with not just me, but other people around them and how they hold themselves around people. I tend to notice personalities too because I am very interested in seeing how different personalities interact with one another.

i tend to notice a person's smile and their eyes when i first meet them. i am always intrigued by a person's smile because like their eyes, the smile is a window to their soul.

LOL I had to respond to this discussion because when ever I meet someone I too also look at the shoes. For some reason I have always been this way. Another thing I also notice is the hair. My hubby tells me that I am strange because you cant tell what a person will be like by their shoes or hair. But sometimes you can be surprised on what the turn out is. Like when I see people with clean nice shoes it tells me that they are very tidy. Like my mom she takes good care of her shoes and guess what she is a tidy clean person. To me a lot of different things that you notice on a person or about a person can tell you what they may be like. Happy Mylotting

since its our first meeting and since i cant still predict his attitude as he might just trying to pretend so at first meeting the first things i look at the guy is the way he carry his clothes and the way he act and talk. if he looks and sounds smart enough or lousy and pretentious, if he act like he care. though of course i dont just judge him on the first meeting as we really cant tell.

I think the thing that pops out to me most about a person is their overall style- they way they dress and present themselves and how they walk and talk. I know, its kind of a broad "thing," but I couldn't pinpoint it anymore. w
