We're all aware of the song "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira.I can't make a head or tail out of it and how she relates lying with the hips.Do you have an answer or explanation?Or does it bear a different meaning which is not apparent?I appreciate your participation. Thanks, Happy MyLotting!!

I also believe that the song is about dancing. If your hips are swinging to the music and you are dancing...than that means it must be a good song. Your hips don't lie, you wouldn't dance to something you don't like. She just means your hips are always right.

Hi Chad, Yes,it sounds like if the notes of a song makes your hips shake and move,it means it's going to be a good song. Thanks for Commenting Happy MyLotting!!

Well, may be she has a better interpretation of this, but I think she meant that she was actually talking about laying down her hips. May be she doesn't sleep on her back. She always lie down on her side. Her hips have never actually touched her bed. I think she has some serious problem in spinal chord, that is why she lies that way. This is actually recommended by several physiotherapist. Hope she has a physiotherapist too. Take care

I have never heard the song. I would imagine "hips don't lie" to have something to do with hiding.
