I had one brother who was killed in a car wreck in 1971. But glad you have great sisters and a brother. I never had a real sister. I have a few friends I consider sisters tho. It's nice to have family.

I'm sorry to read that! Like you said though, quite often friends can be so close, they might as well be related!

LIfe is weird esp. in how we deal with others. I have many friends, male and female both who I think of as kin. I'd hate to think of losing any one of them. HOpe you have lots of friends and family both.

I have to full-bloodied sibs, and 3 half sibs. All are sisters. In my opinion no one can fully know if how many siblings we really have.

That's okey. Yes we (general) just don't know how many siblings we have, because the reality is that we don't know our father's affairs (past or present) or our mothers. Or maybe even them they don't know. lol.

That is really bizarre how that works. Of all my guy friends with brothers, I've NEVER heard them say that. But it seems to be a frequency with girls and sisters.

She won't answer the phone. I have resorted to texting. Hey, sometimes she answers back!

I only have a sister. But a very wonderful sister. I wish I had a brother or two to play with and learn things to them. I lived in the middle of a city, so my parents had not the place for having a twelve children's big family.

I certainly wish I had a family a little closer in age for me. . .I never really had anyone to play with. My folks also lived in the city - so it would have been tough having a bigger family.

I tell people that I have the best of both worlds, an older brother and a baby sister. In actually fact, my brother is a Pain!

I only have one brother. He is 22 now, but lives in another province. He's very dependable and responsible. I miss him so much!

I live away from my siblings too. It can certainly be very hard at times! I know the feeling. . .

I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters, we're all married and have a family of our own. Though some of my siblings live in far away place from home (two live abroad, 2 live in provinces) we still find time to talk or chat or email each other on special occassions and just to say hello.

That also can be very neat. Gives you a potential opportunity to travel and it gives the chance for the entire family to grow and grown and grow.
