What are we doing to obey this simple, yet very hard to go through with, command of God?

I am trying to do this, but everytime I try to share with people around me, I think my eloquence is not that excellent, so I bring them to christian who has good gift on this, I wish I can share it myself with more and more friends!

It is great to hear that you are trying pinetree, it shows a compassion that you have for the people around you. But I would have to agree that it is hard sometimes, if not all of the time, that is why I would like to share with you something that I have found. It is called The Way of the Master. It has truly helped me in my efforts to reach the people around me, and would highly recommend it to anybody who want to save those people who are lost like yourself. Here is the link http://www.wayofthemaster.com/index.shtml My God bless you and equip you with what you need to reach those people around you.

Just pray for them, do nothing more than that. There is a great power in prayer.

I would agree with what you said achilles2010 that there is great power in prayer. A lot of good things have happened in my life dew to prayer. But I would have to disagree with "Just pray for them, do nothing more than that." For God told us to "seek and save", and seeking means to go out and look, to stand up and find the ones that are lost and getting them saved. Yes we must pray for them as well, pray for them before we seek them and pray for them after we have found them, for it is not us who can save them but through the grace of God alone. So praying for God to change their lives yes, but we have to go and start that process, to seek them and then through God grace, and our prayers, save then.

Hello, I hope to give some insight about this needed topic. To seek and save the lost. Yes, it is indeed a commandment from God to seek out those who are lost. We all have this calling on our lives when we become born again Christians. But there are simple steps that we can do to begin the process. God will indeed equip us for the task. First, before we can seek to save others, we need to personally seek God ourselves through reading, study His word, and pray to seek the Spirit of God. This is the key, the Holy Spirit,to lead us to those who are lost. There are many scriptures that gives us simple steps to follow, remember this is a process that we all go through. If some of us can look back on when we first got saved, we felt like we had so much zeal and joy that was hard to contain ourselves. But also remember is not always what we say, is what we do that gets peoples attention. And this is what Jesus was talking about when he said let your light shine. The light is Jesus. Once we realize who we are in Jesus Christ and our relationship with Him becomes stronger daily along with having the Holy Spirit within us, our life will become and open book. I believe sometimes it seems hard to obey these simple steps is because we somehow allowed our relationship with Jesus become a little less important. There is many things in this world that can come against us if we are not careful. The reason I say this is because I'm seeing this happening in my own sister's life right now. Oh, and one other thing that comes to mind. When we decide to fully commit and summit our lives to Christ, we have become a target for satin. So also remember that when someone sees you going through a trial or temptation, peope are going to look at how you respond to the situation. Especially, those who use to know you from your past life. This is also why it is so important to be filled with the Holy Spirit,He is the one who gives us boldness. How we handle ourselves can be the best testimony and an opportunity to share the good news, which is Jesus Christ. Have a wonderful day, and God bless you. I hope I had help in some way.

I think the hard part is the "seek" part. How do we 'seek' the lost? I'm a busy mother of ten children...One thing that's been good for me it obeying 1 Corinthians 11:1-16, and wearing a head covering. When I am out in public, I make sure to meet people's eye and smile at them. That combined with my covering and modest dress will sometimes make people approach me, and it gives me a wonderful opprotunity. I also have a blog (raleyfamilysfarm.blogspot.com) and I try to make what I write inspirational. I write a few other places, too. Knowing our Bibles is VERY important in seeking and saving the lost. We must be ready to give people real true help by pointing them back to the Bible when they have problems and crisis's. The beautiful promises, yes, and also the verses that tell us what will cause us to lose our souls (Galatians 5:19-21 and Revelations 22:15) We have to be bold when we seek and save the lost.

for me obeying in our God is more important to me yet very hard but God says He is always there in us where ever we are so we can call upon Him by faith we can do obeying to him the command of our God is our obligation as a Christian to obey His command.. so to saved the lost i our duty as a christian..

One simple way to do that is by becoming a good example to them. Let your light shine upon them that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven. :)

Focus on Jesus and not on your weaknesses. His power is enough for you to overcome them, and His purpose directs you. Just love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.
