I took my driving license test in one country of Latin America, so there was always a myth that you wouldn't pass it the first time, and I knew many people that didn't make it the first time, they made it the second and third time, so I was very scare when I went to take the test, and I was so surprised when I passed from the first time. What about you? Did you pass your driving test the first time you took it?

My Dad taught me how to drive when I was 12. My brother and I practised by racing tractors around the farm. (He usually won because he had the big John Deere and I had the little Ford.) I also took driver's ed in high school. By the time I actually took the written and driving tests, I was well prepared. I aced the test!

I sure did pass my drivers test the first time. I got my license no problem but I took defensive driving prior to taking the test :D I know someone who has failed the written test like fourteen times. Good for you for passing on your first go. Way to go! and congratulations.

I learned to drive a Tractor at an early age, and plowed my first field when I was 9 years old. When I was 16 my dad took me to town to get my Ontario Drivers License. We went into the office, and the examiner wasn't busy so he had me fill out a form. I put down my age and name, and signed that I was a Canadian Citizen. Then it was time for the test. The examiner went with me in the my Dad's car, and we went around the block, and I had to stop on a stop sign on a hill. When I did that without rolling back, the examiner told me that I had passed the test. That was in 1949.
