What a tragic news on children!

Where did this occur? Do you have a link to the news story at all. The Amish kids being killed last year was a targic event. The only thing we can do actually is to educate children on the dangers of real life. Things happen that noone can deter though. As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

That is just awful and gave me a very sick feeling. Authorities think he may be mentally unstable. Ya think? This is terrible and I hope they can find the guy and make him pay for his crime. These poor kids.

i didnt hear about this. when and where did this happen? you are right, it is very sad and these children will carry these horrible memories with them for a life time!

There's no where safe now, especially for the young and defenseless. I feel so sad just reading this post and wonder how much more of this things are actually happening, happened, and will probably still happen and what measures can be done to prevent such tragedies.

If we had a way to know in advance what makes people do this, we'd prevent it, right? Sadly we don't, so we can only do something after they happen. Well that's not totally true. some mentally unstable people are out on the streets even though we already know there's a problem, probably due to not enough money to keep them locked up, get them treated, etc. That's something that ought to be fixed. thinking about the whole thing makes me feel sick...

Oh Jesus!!! Hitting young kids with hammer? What kind of a man he is? I am sure that he is more than 'unsound'. Wonder, why his family would let him go loose here and there... My heart's aching for those little kids now. May God protect them! I have heard of child molestation cases etc., but this is new to me. I think, the schools should tighten the security in their premises and no person without a valid reason, should be allowed to enter the school... I feel terrible for those kids... Hope they're better now...

I read of that news in the Malaysian news website TheStar this morning. It was insane; the man is most likely a mentally deranged guy from the way he acted. I just wonder what his motive was, because no one actually provoked him and he just came to the kindergarten and started behaving madly. He even had the cheek to make threatening actions to the kindergarten teacher before leaving. All this does not bode well for the community; even under proper supervision things like that can still happen....I just pity the children that got hurt in the incident; it must be a terrible experience to get knocked on the head with a hammer and bleed so profusely. These sort of people should be put into mental hospital as soon as possible so that they don't harm the public.

That's horrible! I cant believe there are people who can actually hurt little angels like them. Maybe the man was mentally ill because as a normal person, he cant do it to innocent children. I suggest that all schools especially nursery schools should have there own security guards that guarded the school all the time. Because it is hard for a child to suffer such tragic incident.

It makes me so mad when I hear of anyone hurting children. I haven't heard this story yet. How are the children? Those poor little kids must have been so scared. I have no answers there is evil out there. Yes this man is not sane but still no excuses. We don't know who are neighbors are and what danger lurks. We can protect our children as best we can. I don't know what the solution is. This world is a scary place. I haven't had any experience with that time of crime. How many times have children been taken from their own beds and later killed. It is very sad news.

You know these news stories keep happening. All of them disturb me to no end. To differing degrees mind you, but really it is hard to tell when you are at this end of the spectrum of sick people. I am becoming less and less surprised by the actions of humanity as time passes more and more. Am I still sickened? Fortunately, I still am sickened, so I have not been dehumanized by a constant downpour of these sick people in this world. However, not really surprised as much as a younger, more idealistic version of me might have been. Regardless, the fact that someone could do this to young children, who never harmed anyone in the world, just shows how sick someone is. I mean, I have heard people who have gone for a loop, but this is a man who is quite frankly sick in the head. I hope he gets locked up for a long time. I have no idea why this is happening. I'm sure it's happened before in the annals of time, but it just seems like it's getting more exposure for some reason and thus makes it feel like it is happening more often. I mean, I am at a complete loss for words beyond this point. Some people, I don't know, just some people.
