I started a discussion a month ago on this Clyesdale/Pinto Pony cross who had an owner who didn't love him. Anyway I didn't think she had any success finding someone to buy Danny. I had hear she had people interested in buying Danny but as soon as they heard he wasn't broke they'd lose interest. Well on Sunday a truck and trailer pulls into the stable saying they were there to get Danny! It turns out he was sold and Danny's bimbo owner never bothered to tell anyone! To make things crazier Danny's owner was not around and had to called to get her out to the stable! She really thought Danny was being picked up the following weekend! The new owners had driven 2 hours to pick him up! i found out Danny's new home is in the area I grew in! I hope it is a good home! Danny needs one! After Danny left his stupid owner left a note on the note board saying thanks for the great horsey experience and thanks for everything! I'm like she never followed through on the help that was offered her! She was clueless buying Danny in the first place and never did a thing with him the time, which was, like 6 months she owned him! I am so glad she is gone! She was nothing but ignorance written all over her! I hope to dear God she never owns a another horse as long as she lives! If she does I will feel very sorry for the horse!

I'm glad to hear Danny found a new home - I hope they are going to do great things with him - like break him and ride him, or maybe they want him to pull a cart - I don't remember if you said how tall he was. I, too, hope no other animals land in that woman's hands. Gads, I hope she didn't have children!

13 hands is still a pony, my favorite for years was 13 3 so she was a big pony - her daughter, Sunup, was 14 3, an inch over the high and so she was a "horse"

aawww! I do hope Danny got a nice home. its terrible how some are treating these beautiful wonderful creatures these days. years ago in the country where we lived, there was a pony that kept escaping our neighbors down the road. he would come visit and hang out with my 2 little boys. they had a ball with him the 3 times he visited after that 3rd time the owner sold him. the boys so missed him and he seemed to thrive on their love and attention. but alas we couldnt afford one as the boys fed him up on all our apples, oats, and then some when he came. lol

What an awesome story until the pony was sold! So many people were I live get horses and have no idea what are getting themselves into! This woman who owned Danny alaways said she wanted to learn about horses but for whatever reason never did! Anyway so many people think they know what they are doing with horses and the horses end upo abused, adandoned and neglected! With the economy being bad more neglect and abandonment has happen. Poeple who were able to afford horses could not anymore! I hope Danny found a good home! He needed one!

I am so glad that Danny the pony has a new home and it is lovely that you know the area he is living in now. It will make a big difference to Danny to have a loving owner that cares for him properly. Danny's previous owner sounds like a very irresponsible lady. When I was a teenager my friend had a horse on loan. The horse's owner thought that that her horse was lonely so she bought a donkey. She found that the donkey was always hungry and ate far more than the horse. That is the story about Polly the horse and Blossom the donkey.

I am very happy to see that Danny went to a new home. I was surprised he ended up at a place near where I grew up! Yes his old owner was irresponsible! I hope she never owns another horse! Thanks for the story of Polly and Blossom, too!

I am very happy Danny found a new home! I hope to get another horse in the future but I am not ready yet. Horses are beautiful animals. They can be expensive and alot of work! I won't get another horse until Major's,my late horse, vet bill is paid off! Like in 2 years I hope!
