Why do we close our eyes when kissing?

Most of the people close their eyes when kissing? Why we are doing it? Some say it is a reflex to things getting close to our eyes!?

maybe because we want to dream how the feel when kiss somebody else , LOL. it`s natural for us maybe

it is an automatic reaction to feel the presence of your partner. this will also refrain you from any distractions. so, when you close your eyes you are into it and you are so focused on what you feel for the moment.

Well....i do close my eyes when i kiss my husband on the lips. But when i kiss on the cheeks or neck or ..my eyes are wide open. LOL It must be because you don't want to get crossed-eyed when you are looking @ each other with half a centimenter distance. :-)
