I know a few home remedies to help keep you healthy and wanted to find out your home remedies to help keep us all well. I know that for an ear ache to warm up salt and pour it into a (white) sock. The reason for white is it is supposed to keep infection out of your ear. Put the salt in a sock and hold it to your ear and it will drain the ear wax out. I know if you got the hiccups take a tea spoon full of sugar and let it melt in your mouth. I know for sneezing to stare at a bright lite and it will make the sneezing stop. I know if you have low iron in your blood to eat a lot of green vegetables and it will build your iron up. So do you know any home remedies to share with me?

Hello friend thanks for sharing, i have heard some of these earlier. For ear ache we put a drop of warm mustard oil, it gives relief and drains out the wax if there is not much, for hiccups we give a piece of jaggery and ask to suck Well try this, while cutting onion keep a candle lighted near you, i am sure you won't cry lol Happy posting, cheers Prof

Hi Professor. I didn't know mustard oil would help and ear ache. What is jaggery? Did know salt warm in a white sock will drian the ear wax out. For hiccups I use a teaspoon of sugar and let it melt in my mouth will cure the hiccups in a few seconds. Never have a problem with onions making me cry I wash them and they don't cause me any problems. Thanks for the tips.

hi free__man. well here goes mine my husband told me when I started to sneeze just say black friday and you will stop sneezing. pull your tongue as far as you can and hold it for a few seconds is supposed to stop the hiccups. put cucumber slices on baggy eyes and lie down for a few minutes andit will take away the puffiness. sprinkle baking soda into your smelly shoes , wait ten or fifteen minutes, dump out the baking soda and the odor is gone,;powder your lips first before putting on lipstick, it will last longer. thats the best I can do for now.For an upset gassy tummy and you have no tums, chew some mints or some spearmint gum.

Hi Hatley. I like your remedies. I knew the one about powder on your lips first. I don't use tums they don't work on me. I didn't know that spearmint gum would work but will try that one next time. Thanks.
