Fundamentals of Making Money Online

I thought to make a quick post here on mylot. I've been busy with a lot of things (as usual) but so far, things are looking good. I've been testing a lot of stuff with internet marketing. Much of what I do these days involves affiliate marketing. So, today, I thought to share a few pointers on making money online. Yes, it's quite difficult to make sustainable income online because you need a system that works for you. Whatever system that would be would entirely depend on your niche selection and whatever best suits your skills, abilities and time. Anyway, regardless of whatever system you're using, the fundamentals would always remain the same. Namely, they are: 1) You need a product to promote 2) You need to know where to promote it 3) You need to track your sales, conversions and leads to determine profitability of the ad campaign/ promotion method you have used to generate sales or leads In a nutshell, you would have to: 1) Research your selected/ preferred product 2) You need to find a targeted place on the web to maximize traffic and exposure 3) You need to monitor your advertising and marketing efforts While a lot of things on the internet are constantly changing, these points I've listed would most likely stand the test of time. The key point is not re-inventing the wheel. It's actually making the wheel spin for you. Go with the fundamentals. Learn them well and work out something that best suits your needs. All materials that you will find online are suggestions, just as this one is, because again, you do what best suits you and your niche. A simple example of the fundamentals that I've listed would be: 1) You decide to promote your survey/ ptc referral link 2) You decide to promote it on other similar networks with banner ads/ ad purchases 3) You check your number of signs up with the number of clicks and impressions made. You also check whether your refs are active. As you can see, same formula applies. The idea is simple but it's the actual process that requires a lot more study. I just thought I'd throw this in here for a quick read. Oh, and before I forget, with anything you do, you must have persistence, drive and the right mindset to succeed. Happy mylotting, everyone.
