With the inevitable energy crisis looming in the horizon, the question is can you survive without electricity?

If our ancestors can make it without electricity in the early days, we should be able to do so too. No doubt that electricity is really important to us in our daily lives, but it is not so essential that without it, human beings will perish. The instinct to survive will somehow make humans adapt to a life without electricity.

Well, we've been through this before.. in the Philippines, I mean. So this is nothing new. The only thing I cannot understand is why when they rotate the brownout, they have to pick the lousiest time to do it. I mean they can do it in the morning or afternoon when kids can play or dip in inflated pools or go to the mall. Not during evenings when they are sleeping and start having tantrums for broken sleep or just when adults are resting from a hard day's work. There are so many ways to cut electricity, they just pick the most stupid unfriendly hour to do it, not thinking how people will get affected.

Yes, ideally that should be the case but I'm afraid that these power companies can't do it even if they wanted to since they can't accommodate all the people in one rotation. It just sucks if you got the worst time for these power failures
