An old friend of mine recently told me this story. I would like to share it with you. There was this man caught by the cops. He was a dreaded criminal. The police blindfolded him. He was not tortured at all nor even touched by the cops till then. There was this doctor present at the interrogation room. He told the criminal, that we ( the cops) are gonna cut your legs and let the blood flow out of your body. We are going to reward you with a slow painful death. Then, in real sense the doctor just made a small cut on his left thigh, with a shaving razor. The prisoner could feel that he has already been cut. With 2 hrs, he died. Does the mind really plays such an important role? Do you think that a person can really die if he is that scared? Your thoughts and comments, please.
