we haven't seen the sun in 3 days

It was beautiful this weekend, but today it's cloudy and we've had a little rain. I'm ready for it to be sunshiny all day for days. (NM reporting in...)

i live in the equator where there are lots of sun throughout the year. sometimes too much that we have to stay indoors or wear sunblocks when out of doors. and with the rain we complain as well. despite this i share your plight. i know its been very difficult. it pays to be strong and keep looking forward with hopes and optimism because help is on the way...

The sun was out but briefly and it was weak today. I am just glad it isn't snow. I can finally walk on all the sidewalks now! It took a month for the snow to melt.

Hi, timhinyy. I am sorry to hear about this. I have heard from tissah that they have flooding in her area too. I have seen the sun since yesterday. It was sunny in the evening time. I hope that the rain clears up so that you can see the bright and warm sun smiling down at you. We have not had any bad weather lately. It rained last week but that was all. We have mixed weather here. Sometimes it is hot and other times it is very cold. I call this "sick weather." I do hope that the weather gets much better where you are living at.

We had sun yesterday. Cloudy today though. I think a real part of it has to do with the daylight savings. I wake up so much later than before. I am glad Spring is on it's way. More sun and warmer weather. When I lived on the East Coast I understand the days and weeks of no sun. That was so difficult to stay positive. Of course I suffer from SAD.

right where i am right now, we're having a wonderful sunny day although the heat is a little too intense for me as the season here has been creeping well into the summer already. wish i could share the sun along with the intense heat with you. we could do nicely with a little less heat and you could do very nicely with a little more sun.

I also can't take the long periods of absence of the sun. However, I am lucky enough to have a perfect sunny day right now. Or well, it has already come to an end, it's late evening there. But I've been having such nice weather for a couple of days already. But I know what you feel. In our country the weather tends to be very tetchy, so there are sometimes long periods of rain and cloudiness, it's very depressive. We had like 4 or 5 weeks of rainy and cloudy weather in a row once, now that was awful!

too bad for your location you have already staying but good because it is not hot so hot summer because in my home town it is summer and so very hot maybe about 40degrees celsius which is no good at all..

I know exactly how you feel , I get all depressed when its stormy outside and my feet turn purple. I really despise the cold. Where do you live ? It been raining over here for the past couple months and now its finally begining to stop.

For me here in the Philippines always e see the sun during day's time if there's no rainy season about your question don't be marvel because it is in the bible say's that when the Armageddon is near the thing's would happened that it is not it will happened.

its opposite here. Were getting so much heat because of the burning sun even upto 35 to 36 degrees C. its so hot! Cant sleep right with this kind of weather. I would go to a higher province to get a cool weekend.

Hi timhinvy, I agree its been a very dark weekend. It was pretty bad where I 'am at also. But, I have to admit, I do love the rain sometimes. I'am not a big wind person though, but, the rain can be nice. I think thats one of the reasons why we appreciate the sun so much. I guarantee when the sun comes back it is going to be a beautiful sight. So, hang in there the sun will appear. I personally lit some candles, ordered out and watch some tv, between power surges. I had gotten out some books, just in case we had lost power all together. Thank goodness we did'nt we were lucky, but, there were some people not so fortunate hopefully they will get the power restored. Don't let the rain get you down, yes it can be depressing sometimes, but, it can be very relaxing and I think we all can use some of that sometimes. (smile) the sun will shine again....

I don't like rainday.I feel sadly when i can't see the sun.Yesterday was very cold,and i thought why the spring is still cold .there was no sun,no bird,no flowers and no fresh air.But today is happy day,because sun rise again.Hope your sun will rise soon.

It's quite the opposite here in our country most especially in our region. Not only are we suffering from the extreme heat and dryness known as EL NIÑO, our electricity has limited hours because our power plant is hydroelectric and therefore the current is very low. How I wish we could trade weather for even just one day.

i am sorry to hear it. there is still sunshine here in my place even the rain hard comes everyday. i really thankful, cause sun makes my day warm after having a rainy hard all night long. well, i can imagine if there is no sunshine for thee days, it must be so cold. i hope tomorrow there will be sunshine at your place
