Once you have bitten your lip it seems to just jump right out there and ask to be bitten all over again. I am sure that if Dearra were to try to give you lessons it would just backfire and she would find herself biting her lip. On the other hand, is this subconscious, because your are concentrating on "biting your tongue"?

ha it's because I like my food and I was eating too fast! 
And yeah it asks to be bitten again. It had just almost healed from a couple of weeks ago when I bit it like 3 times.

Sure wii,when they are little they think u are soooo smart. teen years, u are dumber than a stick, adults they think u are so/so, when u get old like me just hang it up & forget it, u don't have abit of sense, lol.

I know how you feel..hate it when I bite my lip. Worse when I bite the gum on the inside of my mouth, and hate it just as much when I bite my tongue which happens sometimes when I'm asleep.
For some reason. MY tongue likes to rest between my teeth,and you know how teeth will clamp down when you're asleep, so it's not unusual to be woken up by a painfully bitten tongue.

In hindsight, a lot of things are funny.

hi dawnald this is too funny, I just finally got over having bitten my lower lip and did it two or three times so it took forever to heal, then too I am a diabetic so nothing heals fast on us. So Dearra's going to give you eating lessons,just so she does not bite her lip too.boy that does hurt too. I wonder why it is once you do it,you seem to do it again and sometimes yet again ouch ouch ouch.then today I fell asleep at the computer,no harm you say? oh yes my head went down and the sharp banging of my face against the keyboard woke me up. now I have a nasy blue purple bruise and just looked and it looks like someone daubed blue eye shadow all over my right eye. I have a black eye,I never have had one before.lol lol the nurse and I had a laugh fest but my 
poor head really hurt. she gave me an ice pack to hold on my lump above my right eye. lol.

Yes!!! Once you've bitten it, it swells up and then you bite it over and over again before it heals. Aggravating...
