unfair treatment in public

This weekend I experienced public humiliation for the first time.
I was at a public party and on the moment when I asked my gf to go home there were 4 guys that thought it would be funny to literally attack me and a friend of mine.
We were pretty bad injured and we didn't know these people and they had no reason, nothing at all! The security guards where not even close and it was over within a minute, we did not have a chance at all.
So I'm wondering if you people experienced unfair treatment in any way whatsoever.

Sad to hear that and in Belgium of all things. Did you report the incident to the police? Since it was in public place there must been some witnesses to the attack. What will you do about this event?
Some years back I was attacked and beaten by a man. When I reported to the police, he claimed I had attacked him first, and he was merely defending himself. It came down to his word against mine so I just let it go. God knows the truth and it's in hands now.

No I did not as I was too much busy with just "surviving" that attack.
I felt responible for my girlfriend and she was shocked so I had to calm her down a bit. I could report them to the police but I only remembered one face and his face is the only thing I know. The only thing I have learned is to be mentally prepared that there are evil persons in this world.
And I'm sorry to hear about that, he had also no reason to attack you or?
Getting evidence is sometimes hard and getting justice is even harder.

His story is that I attacked first. I did not because even when he was beating me I did no retaliate. Like I said, let God deal with it. He knows the truth. Anyway, that gentleman moved away from the area and I have never seen him again.

I have never experienced anything like that, but I had a friend who did. It doesn't make since. I can't understand why people would just want to hurt other people, especially if you don't even know them. I'm sorry this happened to you. Hopefully you heal quickly.
