What most people hated math in school? I learned math, but I don t liked, I liked literature, geography, philosophy, history. I remember for example that those who were good at math, were good and the philosophy or literature, because they had original ideas, for they thought and not taking other people's ideas as undeniable landmark. For mathematics and human objects are not excluded. Usually, those who are good at math, have good results and the other objects, without too much effort to learn, that they pass through the filter thinking all information and seek to explain phenomena and not to memorize them as parrots. So it would compete successfully as a student is inclined to claim that human objects.

Every person is different without question. I'm better at Math than literature. I wasn't bad with Geography and history but just stronger at Math. Never had Philosophy and probably won't be unless I go to a different school after I graduate the one I'm in now for a degree in SAP (Software Applications and Programming). I think it would depend upon the person because could be stronger than literature and another could be stronger at Math.

You could be right on that. I'm not sure on the exact figure on that and never really looked it up. Maybe they could have them as options to take. Just a thought on that. For me, it would depend on the literature. There are some that are good and others that aren't and that's just the way it is.

But we can try to deal with math and literature to a balance. In addition to living to survive,I think that fullfillment is more important.

I would have to say that I preferred literature. I was never really good at math, and enjoyed reading and such.

I like solving problems, critical thinking and weighing the pro's and con's of a particular consern to see what the best approach would be. that is why I am majoring in social work to empower people to approach an issue to see how they can do alternatives to their concern and change or adapt differently to their environment. I do like literature or wrtiting a little better than math, but I need to use them both. The subjects that you mentioned are interesting to me and I do like studying them all. In about 5 weeks I will be studying history.

The thirst for knowledge, diversity, makes us have more opportunities in life, to have more open minds, and not to be more tolerant of others, a trained mind is a healthy mind

Definitly mathematics. I love reading but didn't like studying literature before I started studying German at the university. (after I had studied math and physics) I think I liked studying literature then because we read books I liked, but I didn't feel the reading experience got ruined by analyzing them. And some books I really didn't like, so analyzing them couldn't make it worse. The Process for example. Analyzing it was much funnier than actually reading it. Never liked that book.

hi! a question just for me :) I would like to shout it- LITERATURE- this was my favorite subject at school and it is still, because now I am at the university and study it- I study literature at the university every single day, from Monday to Friday and I feel so happy. At school i was the best student in literature, have known all the poems, all the writers, all the novels, have read all the books that we had to read, even much more, I have even read books, that even my literature teacher wasn't read till then :) and I was really pleased to learn it!

I much preferred literature and often came top in my exams with it. I loved all the other subjects that involved writing and reading. When I left school however, I became more interested in math because I had to add things in my head for a job I had. I found math getting easier and easier and I even started to enjoy it. I then got involved with philosophy and now really love it. I am a Zen practitioner, although that is not a philosophy but a way of life, I still love to talk to others who are interested in Zen. _Derek

I preferred literature and basically dumped math. The funny thing is that the first time I sat the Caribbean math exams (CXC) I passed. I like to be competent at whatever I do and I hate to think that something conquers me all the time. That combination gave me a determination which resulted in a pass.

well since i was a lot better at mathematics then anything else in school and it was pretty easy for me i would tend to lean towards that one. It is always nice when you can expand on what you have read as i don't seem to read as near as much as i did when i was in school unless you count a news story in that. i remember when i was just learning to read when i was young how i excited i would get to read something new and now it just doesn't seem the same i just wish that i still had that youthful excitement about reading that i used to have. I still love math it comes in handing when doing bills and the fact that i can quickly do the math in my head without a need for a calculator is always a nice thing for me to be able to do saves a lot on paper as it always did, but if i ever needed it i always have the little calculator on the computer, but have never had a need to use it.

I was much more a fan of math and science when I was in school than I was a fan of literature. Now, that isn't to say that I don't like English class because I did like it because I was able to write a lot and writing is something that I have always enjoyed. When I went to college I actually decided to be a biology major because that was what held my interest more than anything. I'm glad I made that decision too, I wouldn't have changed all that I learned for the world.

Hey ma'am, Though both are necessary for life, I prefer literature. Wee need the help of mathematics but literature drives my emotion and passion, takes me the other world. That's why liked literature in my school life. I was fond of stories, novels, poems etc. Have a nice day.

I speak english and so that is why I love to learn, read and write english. But other than this, I love maths as a subject as I find it really easy and interesting. I say that it is a subject of understanding and not mugging up. If we understand the main concept then for sure we will be able to score cent percent and be a genius on the earth. So, I can't say that I like this or that subject more. I like these both subjects equally. When someone asks me which is my favourite subject, I say them maths and english. Happy mylotting!

I was not great with math, but I LOVED Literature. My major is English Education, so it is clear what I liked the most in school. I have always love stories and writing, and that is why I loved Literature so much.

I love Math. I love solving equations and other stuffs like calculus, logarithm, trigonometry, and algebra. I hate proving theorems though. We didn't really have an extensive study about literature in high school so we spent more time trying to figure out how to solve math and science problems.

While I was good at both, I preferred literature and other reading-type courses. My favorite subjects were macro economics, sociology, and business.

I have always liked Math. For as long as I learned the concept, there was nothing else to memorize. I stayed away as much as possible from Literature , Geography and the social Studies. I much preferred Math and Sciences. Now, does that make me a better person than those who preferred the other subjects, NO I do not think so. It is probably just that way. We each have our own role in this world. Imagine if everyone was into math.... where will we get our doctors, nurses, dentists, science teachers, people who take care of society like politicians, lawyers, social workers. I am sure many of these people were not good at Math.

I love math in highschool! It's for that reason that I got a course in college related to math. Thus, I am now a math teacher! On the other hand, another favorite hobby of mine, when I'm not solving math problems, watching animes, and playing PS2, is READING! I collected books I bought from book sales and traded them with other books with friends a few years back. I used to collect Anne Rice books because I love the Vampire Chronicles. But I have read other books that I love like Mitch Albom books and John Grisham books.
