Robbery on the Bus!!!

Philippines

I am afraid I am bringing you all the Bad news of my trip... When the bus was about to arrive the City... the driver came to a stop when the driver of bus after us asked him from a help... he parked beside the road... his bus was robbed couple of minutes after we approached the area. The robbery were one of the passengers and had many back ups on that particular place... It was a curved with hills and cliff on both sides... his passenger were already rescued to the city... I was alarmed that time... but I felt safe because I know the police were coming on the way... Fortunately, the robberies were caught, and one of them was shot by the officers when he tried to escape... I was so sad by the incident... why people do not realize to exert effort to make money than to stole one's harvest... Have you witnessed such bad incident too???

Yes, but then we give what we robbed to those who had to go threw such an experience. Just think of those faces when they get the same treatment.

hhahaha, yes... and they'll get very upset and stop robbing again and plow some soil!!!! And what we will do is not bad at all... it would be a heroic deed....

Robbery on the bus? Oh no! Luckily you are fine, prime.. glad that you are not hurt or anything like that. I would be worried too, if I were in your situation. Robbery is just not the way to solve money problems..

Yes, I am very lucky I was not on that bus zed, when I was in the station I planned to ride in it because it had an earlier schedule... but the conductor told me that there was an air-conditioned bus after them so I slipped out and made my way to the other bus... Thank God, he guide me to the safe one... Yes, you are right, robbing is not the solution, if they wanted a life that is free and clean, they should have work hard... now they are all in jail...

Oh .. you were really lucky there. Luckily you made the switch. Sometimes our intuition is strong and we do things that have no explanations whatsoever that may safe us. I hope you will always be safe..take care, Prime. I hate those criminals, really. They should have more sense up in their heads, but unfortunately, people do all sorts of things for money. Illegal means, that is. Sad but true.

why people do not realize to exert effort to make money than to stole one's harvest like you i always asked that same question to myself. they want to stole or beg for alms. yet they have the body that they can use to work and earn a living. i witnessed that kind of incident during christmas. we decided to visit my grandma for christmas, so we took a bus to pay her a visit. a woman with two kids also took the same bus. when they were about to get off the bus three teenagers snatched her bag, and one of her son almost fell off the bus. some passengers tried to chase those robbers but because of their age they did gave up.. though one of the kids almost fell off, he didnt had any bruise or wounds..

Oh, that was horrible too... I don't know why they do not realize how to make money decently my friend rather than steal and rob... They have the body as what you said... they are strong, they have good healths... why they use it for bad things... they never realize it is more rewarding to work hard and get the money in exchange for their efforts... I do not know if they can afford to live with their conscience chasing them... Or do the have conscience at all????

speaking of that, i also experience the same yesterday when i try to encash my sss check at the main office coz i want instant cash as other branches take 3 days and they will deposit it to the account first. anyway, on my way home inside the bus, theres a girl whose about to get out from the bus then theres 3 guys trying to get into the bus at the same time. after a minutes since the bus still waiting for other passengers the girl while walking realized that she lost her mobile so she tried to went up to the bus again saying she lost her mobile in the bus. then one of the 3 guys said that he saw the man doing it and suddenly run away. the girl have no choice of course. then the bus move already. then the three guys stop the bus and they get out. only then we realize that it was them who took it coz they bot come and go at the same time and yet they sited far from each other like they didnt know each other and they took off from the bus as soon as possible even if they just got in for a minutes.

Hi Prime, I am really sorry to hear that and it is lucky to catch the criminal otherwise the lost would be much more. This kind of incidents did not happen to me as I seldom go to the place that we need to pass the hills and cliffs. The lonely village always lurks the risk of robbery and the driver should be alert while they passed by. I live in the town. Wallet and mobile stealing always happened in the bus trip, and they are not dare to rob at the city. I am very sensitive while I take on the bus. If possible, I would not take and prefer to drive by myself.

Thank you sasalove. It's my first time to witness such incidents in whole my life, It was really trembling! Now I am more cautious in riding a bus again... it's more better to ride a none-stop bus. It's 17 hours ride all in all I could drive for myself. :-)

I feel you prime I was a victim of that twice in a year last 2005. Unfortunately the robbers weren't caught. I'm thankful that my life was spared during those incidents and also thankful that I have not encountered the same thing again until today

Hi, primeaque86. No, I have never witnessed this action before. I am glad that no one was seriously hurt except for the robber. It is such a shame that people can't go anywhere without being robbed for the little bit that they have as a possession. People like this should work hard at having their own money instead of always taking someone hard efforts.

Yes, I am thankful at least that no one hurt from the passengers cream... Now the robbers are in jail, I hope they will learn their lesson there cream. I hope they would realize it's better to work hard, life is free and decent. :-)

I do not see directly what happened, I just read in the newspapers and over again their cruel with machete and struck the driver's hand until almost severed. It is also in the police off guard and less stringent security at night, robbers usually find a way to avoid. There was even an amateur robbers who operated in the police headquarters that eventually be caught and before it happened they were beaten first by people who see them.

I never had seen them closely but they should get some severe sentence for doing so.I read about them in the Newspapers there are many chain snatchers in here and they were quiet busy snatching golden chains---all they used to do is just come in a bike and get hold of it---before the ladies could ask for others help they would have been disappeared.

Yes you are right sunny... they should deserve such punishment... just imagine the people being robbed, they have worked so much with nothing in the end... and the snatchers/robbers would simply laugh and enjoy what they have got...
