Yes I've been recommended this book by quite a few wise and intelligent people that I know. I haven't read it yet but it's definitely on my list to read. Another good book that I would recommend is The Teachings of Sri Aurobindo. He's another extremely intelligent being and reading his book really change my outlook on life and has allowed me to almost always have a better mood.

I bet if you have read it in your younger days, your knowledge and perception would have been of high quality. As I told you earlier you can read that epic(for me it is an epic like bible, kuran, ramayan or mahabharath) freely on CRYSTAL CLARITY.COM. Through this website one can get free access to many of Yoganandas books. They are short, but contains adequate knowledge.

My daughter suggested me to read this book and I bought it in a shop. But somehow I am not finding time to go through it. After reading your discussion, a desire has come to me to read the book now without any further delay. Thanks for reminding.

Thank you for the info. But you did not mention anything about the content in the book. I want to read if it is inspirational alone. I do not want to read any spiritual stuff. is it a kind of "The Monk who sold his ferrari" ?

I have read few books and one of the best was "The monk who sold his ferrari" It also tells a lot about the preaches of yogi but in a very different and interesting way. I think I would like to read books about yogi and their wisdom. Will search for it.
