I don't remember exactly. Once I figured out what I want to be, but somehow life has so many turns, and I become something else. I just know that whatever I do as in career, i need to deal with people, I can deal with machine or technical stuff.

When I was a child I hoped that I would travel when I grew up. I didn't have any idea which career I would do. At secondary school I did well enough to get on a two year course about Business and Finance, Shipping and Transport. I wanted to work in a office for a ship brokers. So my career became container marketing controller. I stayed in that work for two years but then many people were being made redundant. That happened to me too and if was very challenging to find another job. Lots of people stayed unemployed and it was depressing applying for loads of jobs, getting a few interviews and not getting any work. I decided to let out my cottage to get a monthly income and then go traveling around the world. I got a working holiday visa for Australia. I spent over one year on that fantastic journey. I decided to become a primary school teacher. So I did some extra qualifications to go to a university. I did my degree and then I became a teacher. I have taught classes of children up age 3 to 8 years old. I can teach up to age 11 years old. So I am saying that I didn't know what I really wanted to do as my career until I was age 21 years old. It took my years of study and then I became a primary school teacher.

i was 16 when i am sure i want to take up psychology. but my father wanted me to become a lawyer and enroll me in political science. it was not my choice of course but as an obedient daughter, i did took up political science. i did not know what will happen with my life with that course, because i am not interested to become a lawyer. and i did not become one. i am now an employee in a government office and happy with my job.

I'm 21 and still working on it. I want to do something political... not running for office, but perhaps a staff member for a politician. I'm majoring in political science, so that would make sense. Whatever I do, I want to be able to make the world a better place, to be able to help those who cannot help themselves. I'm the child of a retired military officer and a soon-to-be pastor. It makes sense, I guess. :P

I'm much older than you and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Then again, I don't plan on ever growing up. LOL. I hope to be a lottery winner. How is that for a plan? No seriously, I studied computer programing in college but am currently working as a marketing cooridantor. I know totally unrelated to my field of study but it pays good and I enjoy it.
