What do you do to avoid others consuming alcohol?

Ok, I find myself here surfing the internet, visiting my writing sites and trying to keep busy or at least looking occupied so I am left alone. Why? Because my roommate and his friend are "busy" with alcohol and I dont want to be involved in the consumption, converations (he had a fight with his wife) or antics that go along with it. What do you do when others are drinking too much?

I'd say have a talk with your roommate and you both decide what the rules will be when you or he will be home or not. If it get's to that point again, either I would leave or I'd kick my roomie to the curb. They should consider your feelings as well.

Thank you for the comment too. I do wish this roomie situation would be as simple as kickin to the curb, but unfortunately, the curb would be mine, not his. : )

I would do the same. I would just go somewhere in the house that I wouldn't be bothered with them and still be able to do what I wanted to do. I would make a lot of noise in the morning though...lol...they'll have a headache from their drinking.

Yes, the morning after is a great time to be extra motivated with a little hop in your steps. Great time to do dishes and vacuum too! : ) Thanks for commenting.
