What the heck is that? –nounLaw. the performance by a public official of an act that is legally unjustified, harmful, or contrary to law; wrongdoing (used esp. of an act in violation of a public trust).Compare misfeasance (def. 2), nonfeasance. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/malfeasant ooohhh ok any way - Fox News has exclusively obtained a copy of a resolution to be offered on the floor shortly by House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) accusing the House Democratic leadership team of “deceptive behavior” and operating in a “malfeasant manner” to pass the Senate’s health care reform bill by using the special two-step parliamentary tactic. http://congress.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/03/18/exclusive-cantor-accuses-house-dem-leadership-of-malfeasant-manner/ Click here to see Cantor's resolution offered on the House floor. http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/resolution.pdf UPDATE:The House has moved to table, or set aside Cantor’s resolution, permanently killing it. UPDATE 2: The vote was 232 to 181. Ten Democrats broke ranks and sided with Republicans not to table. http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2010/roll132.xml

Well, I have a term for their behavior that can't be published on MyLot. I hope the lawsuits are being finalized.

Laglen, sounds like your teenager is one smart kid! I just wish I could get my 25-year-old nephew to think like your teenager. Ever since I scolded him in to voting, he just cancels my vote. Dang!

I would have used much harsher language to discribe their behavior. But if I used it here I would get kicked off mylot. But I can tell you I have said it in my own home. The Democrats grandstanded in the last election on how high handed and unethical the republicans in congress were over the past 8 years...and how they would do better. "Drain the swamp". The american people were ticked off at the republicans behavior and voted them out in mass. Now the democrats are pulling the same BS that the republicans did and are not saying it is OK for them to do it because the Republicans did it. Hypocrite much? The dems tore the republicans apart for this kind of BS and now they go and do it. How stupid do they think the american people are? This is going to cost them big time and it should. The american public is sick and tired of the BS being done by both sides.

Here is my pearl of wisdom for today - Two wrongs do not make a right, but three lefts do!
