English is our medium of communication here. It's a violation to the rule to speak Filipino... but I guess it's exciting to learn some of our basic Filipino terms, isn't it? This is an educational site, and teaching vocabularies, not only with my languages but languages all over the globe is so educational. Have you think of it? It is FUN right? So at least we can do it here for free, no need to enroll any online classes. We have Chinese here, Indian, English, Filipino and many nationalities that speak their own dialects too. It is really exciting to exchange vocabularies with basic terms at first. And soon we do not know an English myLotter can write a full length sentence of Filipino soon, or a full length sentence of Indo-Aryan in India.. So here we can do a global translation of terms, let's say: English to Filipino Filipino to English And other dialects we wanted to be translated in English. Soon, we can write a full sentence too... so, is it very rewarding??? How do you find it? *Everyday here on myLot is Learning and Fun* Prime

I'm interested in learning new languages but the guidelines in here do restrict us to English and i personally think that it wouldn't be a better place if they allow others to speak their own languages .However it would be fun to learn few things like the basics to greet people in our respective languages.you gotto believe me that i'm not a good listener.great day.

Hi sunny, yes... if the admin would allow us to speak our own languages then their would be the division of discussions specially the pure English speaking people. Lucky for Filipinos because we can understand English, how about all of us from Philippines would start a discussion purely in Filipino???? I got your point dude. But what I am particularly saying is----this is the good place to learn different languages, that's it! How if one time you got the chance to travel here all for free---see. And oopsss, I would oppose you claiming you are not a good listener, because you a certified listener for me, you listen to me, right?????

Your idea is awesome. I studied elementary german when i was in college so brushing on my german would be great here in mylot. I hope the rules would be give considerations of little translations but not necessarily the whole post would be in your own language or dialect. Otherwise, those who can't read the language cannot make a comment.

This is nice but of course as they say lets stick to the guidelines. If you want to continue this then I suggest you keep it in one discussion with one to three Filipino words that can be translated in any language. Well I'm only saying it but I don't guarantee it wont get deleted. The admin still has the last say on this one. Try not to make it not look as a poll then maybe you're okay

hell0! I also want to learn some new languages because I think that communication is something great and language is some even greater, because it allows us to meet and communicate with many new people, to learn something about their culture and way of living and it also shows us how beautiful the language/communication is. If i have the opportunity I would like to learn Japanese, Finnish and Hebrew because these there languages sounds really fantastic and as I know they are one of the most melodic languages on the world BTW, Finnish sounds really great- i have watched one Finnish movie and it was fantastic
