Hello my friends, there was a time when greeting cards had a great craze and impression, peoples sent greeting cards to each other to express their thoughts and emotions on every occasion whether it is birthday or wedding anniversary, festivals or any special day, but now a days very few peoples use greeting cards, although it is a great medium to send the compliments, most of the peoples now use emails and SMS, MMS for the purpose, because these are free medium, do you still use greeting cards. ?

Hi anurag, you are right internet and mobiles have taken place of greeting cards, and greeting cards are useless, but not meaningless.

I use cards at Christmas and for the occasional Birthday, but I have not actually bought a card for many years now. I normally make my own on the computer because with a little effort you can create a good quality card of a personal nature.

It is a long time I am not using greeting cards. Sending messages through cellphones and greeting through calls is much used than that. I did not buy any as when the cellphones got the trend now a days. Easy to call and send pictures of greeting icons than before so hard and we need to go to the post office to mail it. It is so convenience now that there are free greeting cards in the site or make and send in email so , there is a great difference. So as the time goes by , all are using the gadgets which is high technology.

I don't use them. They are so old-fashioned. Nowadays we have all kinds of communication and if we want to write something to remember it we can just use SMS on our mobile phones or E-mail, facebook and even myLot. With the advanced technology I thing those greeting cards would extict completely. have a nice myLotting :)

No. I do not send greeting cards. Whenever I receive greeting cards from relatives I just look at it once and then put them a side. I always advise them not to send greeting cards to me. I used to telephone on the perticular day.

I still use greeting card as well as emails. I make my own greeting cards at home which shows that we do care about our friends. Sometimes I make cards to sell for charities which is a good feeling when you could help someone who needed for help.

I used to. But I'm no longer using them anymore because there many digital alternatives. But I'm planning to use them again since they are the best because the recipients will have physical remembrance of your greetings.

Yes I do, specially when I want it to be sweet and heart touching and to surprise the person I love. Tho I use emails more but those are only used everyday, not for special occasions. I find it more touching when you can really touch the card and not online or an SMS.

I am one of the few who still does use gretting cards. I theink greeting cards are so much more personal than something electronic that you're just going to end up deleting. I don't know about anyone else, but I save every card I receive. I have cards I got when I was 5 years old and now i'm 22. I save them in a box and go through them from time to time. I think hand-made cards are the best, although there are a lot of really funny and cute store bought cards. A lot of cards at the store are a bit pricy, but I love how they have the ones for like 40 cents and 80 cents. I like writing letters in my cards, too, instead of just signing my name at the end....I think doing that is prett thoughtless. But yea, I am someone who still uses greeting cards and I hope they never go out of style!

I do still send greeting cards through snail mail. I normally send cards on birthdays, Valentine's day, Easter, and Christmas. I normally don't purchase ready made cards, since I am a scrapbooker, I usually make my own cards, I like being able to design them and personalize them myself. About the only store bought cards I send are at Christmas.

yes i still use greetings card for friends abroad, i know that theres email nor chat nor mobile to greet them but personalize greetings card still the best. its like a gift that you received as you can touch and feel it coz the card have physical appearance unlike those text messages that can be deleted by system. in card they can keep it for life and read it again and again even if they are old already.

hie vishalkgupta, i do send greeting cards but very few. these cards are sent to relatives and friends who do not used computer. surprised.. yes they are. sending greeting cards by airmails, snail mails are slow and are not instant like emails. yet i do it for the love of relatives and friends. i have to go to the post office to get the cards weigh, buy the stems, fixed them and then put them designated postal compartments. its worth the hassle as i can imagine the smiles and happiness on my relatives and friends faces when the postmen came with the cards. its worth the effort, time and energy.

Hi friend, I hardly use greeting cards these days. SMS, emails, e-greetings are so handy to greet some one on special occasion that I hardly feel need to send physical Greeting cards. Besides delivery of physical Greeting cards take much longer compared to the electronica alternatives available.
