I can't wait till it gets a little bit warmer so we can go to the lake and put up a tent and do some serious sun bathing.. I love going camping, making a fire at night time, grilling burgers and hot dogs and of course sitting around the fire and talking stupid stuff.. We have a nice lake here in Vegas and we also have Mt. Charleston were you can go camping in the woods and the snow. Which do you prefer...."The Lake" or "The Mountains"?

Hi Missy, The last time i joined a camping was in 2004. it was a youth camp where the theme focused on responsible sexuality back to back with love and respect for the environment. it was a 4days and 3nights event with more than 200 delegates. it was fun we had lots of outdoor activities mini sessions on responsible sexualilty, first aid, wate management and other related environment topics to preserve mother earth.

Every year my work sends kids who lost a loved one to Camp Mariposa, it's up at Mt. Charelston. They have cabins and a big lake. They always looking for volunteers to help set up camp, cook, play with the kids. I thought about going this year. It's really fun they tell me.

I love camping with my family! We don't really have any mountain camping here in Florida so we are always choosing fresh or salt water so far we seem to like fresh the best. THough we got a boat a few years ago and just took it on it's first camping trip last weekend, it could change the way we pick our spots.

That's my dream...leaving by the water and having a boat to go out on every day, and money of course

Hey missy! Love your latest look! Bunny bear! I have to be honest! I used to love camping, but that was about 30 years ago! That was when I was younger (and stupidier) and didn't mind roughing it! I used to camp all the time! In fact, me and some friends did a three day trip down the Delaware Water Gap and that was no picnic! We had to stop every night, haul out gear, make up the site and do that same in the morning and get back in our canoes and keep it moving until we got back to where we needed to be! That was the most exhausting trip ever! Paddling a canoe ain't no joke! I loved it though! It was beautiful! I wouldn't ever want to camp in a mountain area! But, them days are long gone girlfriend! So, you and your Mr. Bear enjoy!

That almost sounds like work...Heehe. I'm more the type to just lay by the water and get a tan than climb mountains myself.

We like the lake in the woods. Our family rents a spot every year for the summer, we take our brother-in-laws motorhome and our Uncles camper and we park them up there for the summer and part of the fall, sometimes we go up one family at a time and 3 or 4 times over the summer the whole extended families get together, we put up the tents add 2 or 3 more grills and have a great time, playing with the kids and just chilling at the lake making memories.

Will you still MyLot while you're camping? Will you carry a laptop with you together with a wireless internet connection device? Or, when you go out for unwinding, it's all unwinding and other activities like MyLotting are all stopped for a while?

I don't have a laptop so there will be no computing.
