Boring chores!

When we were in school, although we looked forward to our last term holidays we dreaded the chores that awaited us at home. We had to keep a watch on coconuts that were kept for drying as birds would come and fetch them and there were many such chores we simply hated. But we all had to pitch in whether we liked it or not. What was your plight?

I'd have to say that my main chore was having to mow the lawn. I hated doing that so much lol! Now, my chores are making sure the bills are paid and so I'm wishing I only had to mow the lawn. I guess it's better than sitting on the couch doing nothing.

For sure lol. I've always believed that chores are meant to teach life lessons and prepare children/young adults to be active and disciplined so they'll be more successful later on in life. :)

I am so glad that phase is over. My mother was quite a task master but there were incentives too for the best worker
