Recently, many foreign media in China is very interested in chinese hacker. I think foreigners don't know chinese hackers well from reports. So, I just want to know, how do you think about chinese hackers? They are really bad? Or they are just some children in internet? Or others? Actually, I also do not know hackers in foreign countries. What are they? What are they in real life? How about their culture? If you understand, please talk about it. Thanks!

I usually understand that hackers want to steal information and then use it for selfish reasons, like to steal identities or sell the information to make some cash for themselves or their government.

gooper, Other than having black hair and yellow skin, I suppose they are the same as any hackers in the world with an ideal and purpose in their personal life and most of all like every human being, including you. Like any systems, there will always be vulnerabilities and it would only be a matter of time before someone be it English, Chinese, Russian, Koreans, Japanese or whatever will just stumble upon it, either by accident or diligent purpose. And, it will be up to such individuals to decide what they would want to do about it. Hackers come from all walks of life and you usually will not know them at all. All of them just go by some nicknames and are like most netizens - anonymous.

Thanks for you answer. But to most of foreiners, hackers in China have a strong patriotic spirit. Or, they are hired by goverments, because of reports from foreign media.
