"Euthanasia" are you in favor or against?

The term "euthanasia" refers to an act or method of causing death painlessly, so as to end suffering, especially if it is brought about by a terminal illness like cancer. I'm not in favor of this; why because the patient's life belongs to God. Thus, only God has the right and power to terminate it. Euthanasia is an act of murder. To kill someone even "mercifully" is murder in the sight of God and according to the law of land. Amid pain and suffering, we can still find meaning and happiness. What is necessary, therefore, is to lead the patient to have a meaningful and happy death,a noble and dignified ending.

for me it depends on the situation of the patient, if he is really suffering and only the machines connected to him that gives him life and no chance of restoring his life into normal, then i will agree for euthanasia so that he can rest and stop all the pain that he is undergoing.

I know that it is painful for those who is sick and for their relatives to see their loved ones in pain but I'm not in favor of Euthanasia. Only God can take away one's life.

I'm for pain meds, for the terminally ill.. I'm not for euthanasia, knowing the human race, once that door's opened 'they'll' be wanting to euthanase far too many folks.. handicapped, more preborns, the elderly, those below 'average' IQ.. the skies the limit.. why in our esteemed institutions of higher education, fast and furious discussion goes on about the 'ethic' of medical lotteries and such.. or such ethical questions as "is is best to save one life, or let one life go so you can use their organs to save 5 lives?" Yes, I kid you not. and who pray tell will get to make such high and lofty decisions?? It won't be you and I..

Hello flowerchilde, I salute you! A medical staff not in favor of euthanasia. Mostly medical staff that I knew prefer the decisions of the relatives of the ones affected. Can you put me in your list as one of your friend?

Hi clocks123, humans are imperfect, God is perfect; humans are unreasonable, God is reasonable and forgiving. Thank you for posting a response.

Hi mercedlegurpa THis is a very controversial discussion. I agree with you. Killing a patient is not a cure, is simply killing him. Only God has the right, because is His. Some may not understand this as they only see humans as animals.

Hi edxcast, controversial indeed but whatever maybe the disadvantages or the disadvantages it's always God's reasons that I favored. Thanks for posting a response.

I am in favor of euthanasia as life only belongs to the human being, so we have the right to choose if we want to go on living with a lot of suffer while tied to a hospital bed or if we prefer to finish with the suffering in a non painful way. I respect those people because living that way can not be called living at all.

I cannot say that I am in favor of euthanasia, but I do respect other people's opinions though. I do believe that God is the only one who knows when is the right time for us to rest in peace, He owns our lives and we don't have the authority to end our lives just because we want to. Life is beautiful.

I am not in favor of it. We dont have the right to take away the lives of other people. I think the instruments that are helping the person to be alive is there for a reason and if you take it away cause you dont want the person to suffer more then you already lose hope. Who would have known, he/she is still going to live. If we practice "mercy killing" then it means that you already lose faith in God and that God has power to heal the person's illness. I just think its not right to do that because there is hope in everything. If someone has to die then we'll just have to wait for the right time and not send the person's soul in advance.

hell0! i am for, but only in case that there are no other cure and the person/animal suffers a lot and it is better to be "put to sleep" than leave it suffer. I think that we must be really rational to cases like that and do the best to stop the miseries and the pains of the people/animals who suffer!
