does anyone else need air on when they sleep?

I am one of those people and I have been this way since I was a kid that always needed to have air on while I slept. I'm not sure why I am this way, but it must help me relax when I try to sleep and it doesn't matter if it is hot or cold out. I still need the air to help me to sleep as my lady likes to have music on to help her sleep. Is anyone else this way is there something you must have to help you sleep?

i guess if the place is hot so we need a fan or air conditioned to make us feel comfortable and relax so we can have a good night sleep. but if the place is already relaxing, like those in the forest nor near the beach where theres wind coming from outside then its already a big help to make us feel more relax when we sleep.

It definitely helps me to have a little air flow whether it is when I am trying to relax to go to sleep or when I am in the car and as it gets warmer it sure does not take long for it to get hot in the car and when the air is on it cools off fast and feels so nice.

LOL...we all need air when we sleep! Sorry couldn't resist teasing you on that! I'm just like you, I have a small fan that has a very soothing noise and I use it every night. I started using it years ago when I lived in the city, it would drown out the traffic noise etc. Now I think my brain is programmed to get sleepy as soon as I turn it on. I can't sleep very well without it!

yeah I didn't think about the literal use of that a very good catch by you. We have a fan that even on low blows a pretty fair amount of air, but it does the job just fine of helping me relax enough so that I can sleep well throughout the night even though I have never been one of those people that stays asleep for long periods of time.

Yes, I have to have the air on when I sleep, although it really doesn't matter whether it's the air conditioning or just the fan blowing. Otherwise, I feel like I'm suffocating. The heat has to be down way low for me to get comfortable. Florida was a perfect state to live in for people like me, since the sliding glass doors could be open all night long in our bedroom. There was always a breeze and I kept the ceiling fan running all night, too.

never actually slept in a room with the ceiling fan going, but i have always had a little fan or something like that going. I usually like to have the air right on me and not have it circulating as i seem to get more of the air right on me that way and I have always liked to have it on no matter the temperature as it helps me relax to help me sleep.

Hi Tim Yes, I do..I think they call it white noise..I can't sleep unless my fan is running and on high!! Something about the noise just puts me right to sleep. When I go away I have a really hard time sleeping without it..I'm also like you, if its hot or cold, the fan is on..

I don't always have mine on high, especially in the wintertime I will usually just have it on low, but even that is a nice amount of air and enough to help me sleep.

yes that seems to be the best way for me to relax and go to sleep and it usually works pretty well for me unless it is a night where I can't sleep and then nothing helps.

I turn it on in the summer, not in the winter.....well I did last year but not this year. I find that I cant sleep if its quiet. I need some noise going on. Music or a fan or anything really as long as its not complete silence.....you know the type of silence where you can hear yourself breathe? I hate that!!

yeah I never really thought of the noise part of having the fan on since all you really hear is the flow of the air coming out of it, but that with the music going it a decent amount of sound, but both help me relax and make it easier to sleep.

this is probably the funny thing with me I don't usually ever fall asleep with the television on, but I can fall asleep no problem with the fan on and the loudness of the music playing go figure. I will sing along for maybe the first one and then I am out like a light usually.
