Last night, around 12 I took a shower then as my usual routine, after taking a shower I would sit on the couch, raise my legs then relax and also to wait my hair to dry. I had my towel wrapped around my hair.. In just few minutes I fell asleep on that position then 7 this morning I woke up because I had a phone call. Weird thing! I am in bed and my towel is folded into 4 and im already lying on it. I feel weird because I do not remember getting up from the couch to go to bed. If I did I would remember and as well will turn on the aircon as I always do before going to bed. I woke up with no aircon or fan ON...I was just lying on my bed as if someone lifted me last night to bed.... Have you ever experienced waking up in bed when you know you were not there night before?

I can say that I do remember something similar happening but then once I woke up I remembered that I did get up and go to sleep. I used to just kind of wake up, and if I needed to go to bed I'd just try not to think so I wouldn't wake up and I'd keep my eyes mostly closed so any lights wouldn't wake me up more. Like when I would go to the bathroom I'd turn on the light but close my eyes!

I leave a lamp On at night so when i need to use the bathroom I wouldn't bump into something with my half open eyes

Our bathroom is right near our door, we have a nightlight so it helps to light the room then when I get to the bathroom I turn that light on.

Hi, mz_Ira. I am pretty sure that this may have happened to me before. I just can't remember right now about it. Was there anyone else at home with you when you were asleep? If not, then that is creepy how you got into bed without remembering how you got there in the first place. I know just the other morning, I was trying to find my eyeglass holder. I was looking on my top shelf for it. And I moved the plastic container that the was on top of the shelf. And I come to find out that when I went to sleep and woke back up that next morning, my eyeglass holder was on top of the container the entire time. But when I moved it earlier, I did not see it on there. I know that I did not. Because if I did, I would have taken it. This was very creepy to me. I cannot explain this at all.

The only time I remember waking up in a spot different from where I fell asleep was when I was about 12 years old. I was camping with family and friends and I fell asleep by the camp fire. I woke up in a camper the next morning and I had no idea how I got there. A friend of the family told me that they had seen me sleep walking around 3 am and directed me towards the camper and a bed.

hell0! yes, I have experienced this a couple of times, and it is really something weird, but I guess it is because of that, that we were very tired the day before, so that our brain just switched off when we fell asleep and couldn't switch on again, when we have suddenly woke up in the middle of the night to go in the bed!

There are people who are walking while sleeping i remember my mom telling me a story of my dad sleeping then all of a sudden stands up and get out of bed and next thing she knows is that dad is outside the house already but my poor dad doesnt even know that hes outside so my mom followed him and when she had the chance grabbed his hand and asked him where hes going and my father woke up at that instant asking why are we outside? ;) creepy but true its as if our unconcious mind is doing the work for us

It has never happened to me, but what you said was funny . Maybe you have some ghost that likes taking care of you and thought that your back would hurt and you might catch a cold if you slept in the sofa

Hi mz_Ira! Nice to you all sun shiny~ Sometimes when we get so tired our mind plays tricks on us! I've been so exhausted that I didn't remember getting undressed and into bed some nights when I used to work long days! Unless you really think that you might be sleepwalking and if you do then I would be careful. If you really are starting to forget things that you do at night then you may want to start keeping track. If you are sleepwalking, which I don't think you are you should mention it to your doctor because sleepwalking can be serious and people can hurt themselves if they try to go downstairs or things like that. I was a medical assistant and studied "Sleeping Patterns" and was extra interested because I have Chronic Insomnia so I wanted to find out as much as I could. It was a very interesting course, but has as you can see it hasn't helped my problem! It's 2:00AM my time now!lol

Gosh!that's totally weird, I never experienced the same thing so far or else I would be horrified who carried me. I mean, maybe you have a family member who put you up there, or if none, then you maybe stood up and get there in your bedroom just like a dream, so much so, that you didn't remember anything.

I remember my childhood days. I used to sleep on the couch since I'm such a chicken when I sleep in the bedroom alone. Everytime, I wake up, I'm on my bed. My father and/or my brothers would carry me upstairs to relocate me. Sometimes, I would notice them carrying me and I would be glad. I want to be carried.I feel like I'm a princess.LOL.

I know.. That's what i'm thinking too that i sleep walk... but i don't actually this is not the first time that happened to me... The first time happened at my Boyfriend's place when we were High School. I made a joke at him and m ade him believed I left already but I was hiding in the bedroom next to his, again I fell asleep while waiting for him to call my cellphone to check if i am home. When I woke up, I am already in his bedroom--- on bed. BF was not there. So I got up and went to the front room and saw BF watching telly. He was shocked and got scared for a minute until he saw me asking me where I came from and thought Ive gone home. So there I asked him if he brought me from the bedroom where I stayed to his bedroom--He said no and he really thought I went home. He never went to the bedroom.

maybe your too sleepy that time as your mind still sleeping and not really aware of what your doing though your walking and your eyes are open then wen you wake up and everything is clear what you have in your mind that about last thing you did last night is your sleeping in the couch. i never had that experience though im always aware of what i did.
