Check into work-study programs at your school. You maybe able to find paid work, like and internship, that also counts toward academic credit. The hours for on-campus work-study are usually more flexible than for an off-campus job, which will allow you time for classes and studying.

Yeah, if I didn't manage to secure any scholarship or bursary, I would probably turn to that. But I don't really want such work to affect my studies. Though the working hours may be flexible, it's still a burden to work while study.

I had worked on campus, but this semester I had decided not to because it had become harder on me. I subtitute teach from time to time. My husband and I only have one car and with the insurance costing a lot we took my name off the insurance. My husband works part-time (he had worked full-time, but because of the budget cuts his hours got cut back without any notice). I wish I was working on campus again, but this is my last semester. I finish school in two weeks. Then I will take some time off to catch my breath then find a graduate school. I am hoping to plant fruits and vegetables so I can sell them.
