WrestleMania 26 Results...

Well other than the three main matches, I thought this was a pretty average Mania. Granted, it was not bad, but given past Manias, it will not be remembered as fondly. CM Punk and Rey getting not enough time in my opinion, when it could have been one of the better matches of the night, yeah not good. Still Taker and Shawn was as great as you would expect. Edge and Jericho was good and Jericho winning really was an interesting surprise. And Batista and Cena proved that they have a good chemistry together in the ring. I will admit that Jack Swagger winning Money in the Bank caught me out of left field. Perhaps it was just because he was feuding with Santino not too long ago. I think he deserves a main event slot, I thought he should have gotten Sheamus's spot. And I see some perils to the Sheamus situation, even though I will admit that Swagger is far better that Sheamus. I mean, before he was challenging and then winning to title, Sheamus was feuding with Goldust and Shelton Benjamin over on ECW and losing a handful of those matches. So, we'll see where Swagger is going here. And I do think that Money the Bank was about as weak as I feared it would be. Ten guys in there was a bit of a mess. It was not bad but it was the low end of the totem pole for Money in the Bank. Still over all, a decent show, with three blowaway matches. I thought Punk and Rey would have been a fourth and it is just as well that they did not do hair against mask like was planned, because there would be an outcry if a match that big only got six minutes. The Unified Tag Team Title Match just seemed tacked on in many ways to begin with and the short match time. The Divas tag...less said about it the better. Orton winning was no shock. Rhodes and DiBiase, I see a lifetime of midcarding for them, unfortunately. Rhodes more so, DiBiase will be like a guy like a Kofi or MVP who will be hovering close to that level, but never quite make it.

I was surprised Jack Swagger winning the Money in the Bank. I was also surprised somewhat about Jericho winning. I figured Edge would get the gold. He's on a losing streak at WrestleMania. It was a good PPV and went pretty much how I thought it would. I don't think Bret's going to be competing anymore.

First of all, thanks a lot for posting the results here.. I really love to watch WWE, but don't have a TV at my rooms , so it is always hard to keep in touch with the WWE world. I am glad that 'The Deadman' won yet again!!! He is the best in this profession, I believe... I would like to watch that match... Maybe, someone will post it on youtube, soon... Well I havent yet watched it since I was out at the time it was on but I read the results on a site after that night. I have to say it sounded alot better than last years. i will be buying the DVD just as soon as it is released that way I can watch to see for myself how god it really is.
