Was a great day yesterday! The weather was in the upper 60's and couldn't stay in the house. The sun was shinning been stuck in the house all winter so yesterday was a great day. We worked in our garage all day. We have a lot of tools so we got them almost all set up and ready to use. Today we are putting up our fence and gate so we can start to let the dog run the fence. So how is the weather where you live? Are you able to get out and do things that you haven't been able to do?

Yesterday was a beautiful day here, too. I finished putting in watermelon, cantalope and cucumbers in the garden, watered everything, and then pulled weeds. The next two days are suppose to be in the 80s. I plan to finish my spring yardwork and enjoy the sun.

Hi Hofferp. Good that you have warm weather and got to put in your garden. We tilled ours but have to till it again then we can start our garden. My husband has all kinds of plants started so they are ready when the garden is ready. Too bad we have to wait till after Monday to do it though. Calling for rain all weekend. And we already have things we have to finish before we can till the garden. I thank God it is going to be beautiful all week wish we had more time to work in the garden though. Will be in shorts and no sleeves from now till the end of summer. Thank God for the sunshine. Will have a tan by next week. Don't really lay in the sun just work in it and I turn real dark.

Good luck with your garden this year. So far the only critters I've had to chase out of the garden are my dogs. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Hofferp. Thanks! We are just now getting tomatoes they are still small but they have plenty of time to grow. Our cucumber plants are almost a foot tall. They are Japanese cucumbers real long and fat they have a different taste to them. Potato plants we have to keep covering them up seen a planter that you can make it is 4 2x4's in the corner about 4 foot high and you just keep putting boards on it so the potatoes can grow. The nice thing about this is when they are ready to harvest you take off the bottom board and pull out what you want and put the board back on and they keep growing and growing. It was about 4foot in diameter. I think I will make this soon. We have to keep our dog out of the garden too. Thanks again and hope you have a wonderful day my friend.
