"I loose interest----only on those discussions which managed to get huge number of responses" (say greater than 50)----Unfortunately that is being called as a hit discussion by the fellow mylotters. Well for me ---any discussion which can hold on for a longer time would be a hit---i do not go by the number of responses. Discussion with Ten unique responses ----is far better than the one with 100 boxes which depicts more or the same . It can be tiring to add comments to so many boxes ---you would agree with me if you had a hit discussion Do you loose your interest in any of your discussions----- If yes what might be the reason behind it ??? If No ----then you havent started mylotting yet lol

I have lost some interest, but that is personal. But i do love to interact with all, not only on my discussions, as there are not really that much of them. Just get over it would you. If i can, you can.

Well, I should say I don't have this feeling so far cause I never have a chance.But sometimes I am afraid to read the response somehow.It's not because I dislike it .I just don't know how to comment it sometime.So I just keep typing "I am agree with you" or "Thank you very much and hope you have a nice day".I know it seems funny when other people read these sentences but there is no better way.I don't know so many wxpressions.And I can't stop posting cause I do want to share my feeling or get some suggestions here at times.It's really difficult for me.But I wouldn't give up it.It's certain that I will keep posting and response here .I just wish there is someday I can use English just like Chinese.

I already said you Zong that stop thinking that you're new to English----those are your posts and you're free to add anything ---whatever comes to your mind so do not restrict yourselves to those simple words---the more you read or hear the more you words you get to use while interacting with us .My another chinese friend isn't good at english too but he uses translators or dictionary to get some words to chat with me in YM each weekend lol and i love his interest to learn english. have you seen any english movies offlate---i think you have just completed your exams if i'm not wrong --how did you with your exams???

Well, I use a dictionary every time I am in mylot ,but you know dictionary can not give all the answers and so many diffrent expressions and I do not want to depend on it so much.I passed the exam with a so-so score.I love to watch English movies .I think my English is improving all the time .Maybe I just don't how to impress "Thank you "with a thousand different words. PS:I do hope I could type mylot code here cause I am laughing and spit my tougue.

Hi, Sunshine! Nice discussion started here, please don't loose your interest in here. Honestly, I don't loose interest on my discussions. It's always interesting to read other peoples opinions and to answer. Well, sometimes it is hard to answer in five similar posts in a different ways... But I always like to read and to give back comments to the peoples which are posting in my discussions.

You're so patient Cloud ---the main reason behind feeling bored is i'm more into instant interaction---which would be real fun rather than attending those boxes which were left hours back---i had to leave few of my discussions halfway ---gotto take some time to add some comments in there

I am lying if I say I do not loose interest on my discussions. There comes a time where I just can't comment any further after the 3rd page. I will wait until I have totally cool down on the topic discussed before coming back to comment. When responses hit the roof, commenting to each and every responses become monotonous and I am stuck with nothing to say, the brain juices refuses to flow. It becomes repetitive if I go on commenting. The good part is the responses come in stages when it reaches the 7th day.

The truth have to be revealed. I do go back to my old discussions once in while and when I find someones response uncommented I will reply even though they are few months old as long as I know that the person is still active here.

I lose interest in mylot a lot, but not in my own individual discussions. It's probably boring when tons of people post the same exact response, though. After a while, there isn't really a point in reading the responses.

how can you be losing interest with your own discussion if you have posted it. that only means you are interested to that topic. having more responses in one of our discussion simply tells us to make more topics and will be another challenge to create more quality discussions. i only lose interest if you say it is losing interest if you stopped commenting on every response therein. if response and comments stop coming in, so practically you will stop commenting too.

Nope it has nothing to do with the responses and comments which come in for me---i can add comments in all the boxes when my post completely dries up provided they're unique responses coz i would learn some thing new from each box which isn't the case with many of my posts there by i end up loosing interest Neil---

ugh YES! its like when you get a discussion with 60 replies and you like to reply to everyone that replied to your post then it gets so annoying because then half of them are saying the exact same thing as another person and its not like you can copy your answers to the others for them since thats against the rules.. so i end up not answering everyone because i have ran out of different ways to say the same thing lol
@sunnycool (12714)

copying the same thing again---i would prefer living it without adding any comments.you must have been experienced in writing the same response in different ways lol---your post count shows that you're a senior mylotter

Oh, What a discussion.!! I just spend some 30-40 minutes of my time reading this whole discussion. No complains though. Had a great time. Sorry for being late. I was a little busy yesterday. Now, to respond to this topic - I must say, I have been bored by my own discussion more than once. Usually the ones that get some 20-30 responses are good. But it is difficult to handle responses more than that. They seem the same and it is very difficult to find new ways to comment on the same kind of response. So, I tend to get bored and leave the discussion. This is a place to have fun and if I am not getting it then I feel very frustrated. I also think it is a very bad thing to do, and sometimes I do get back to the ones where I have not commented. But that is very rare. I need to improve on that. I personally like to have less responses and large number of comments. That is more fun.

Now I understand why you did not reply to HEX and PA. They were talking about you a lot in my discussions and as usual, all for the wrong reasons. I do have problems in having a real time conversation. Specially now, the notifications are a mess. And since I do quite a few things simultaneously with mylot, I cannot constantly refresh the page and wait for someone to comment. Previously I just waited for the mails to arrive. Now they come at different times and I am having trouble in replying back to the comments. You are right. It is much easier to have a real time conversation, than get back later and comment to all the responses together.

you cant find me doing that Sagnik---i hate to read huge boxes that why i prefer to join the party intially so the others have something to read on If i have no time to be here then i just drop by your boxes sometimes i avoid them too I think you have many hit discussions---you must have felt it boring too---having comments in real time is different from adding comments monotonously at the boxes.

Generally If I post a discussion,I read the responses after two days. So at that time we get at least some 25 responses. After reading all of them we get vexed with the discussion. Therefore automatically we loose interest in it.I cannot read more than some 50 responses.The reason is simply and there is no need to read all the responses unless the discussion is on our personal problem.
@sunnycool (12714)

you have taken it completely wrong Singuri-----if you taken some to start a discussion then you should care to attend those responders too.you came up with that post to know about others opinion right then how come you neglect them---going through them isn't enough---you should appreciate the best response by adding some comments.I'm not insisting though---just trying to explain how we can have fun in the boxes by adding back and forth comments with our friends. Commenting back would help you to make some good friends too---they might like your posts or attitude towards certain topics and add you up in their list for further interactions

That was a good attempt dude -----I did mention the reason as what makes it boring in my post---if at all i loose my interest in the very first box itself then your teaser stands good ---but it isn't the case

you are correct dude.. if we get too many responses we tend to loose interest in that discussion.. moreover the same point will get repeated time and again in a discussion..

hi sunnycool then I must be the exception to the rule, as I have got many responses now on many of my discussions and not I do not lose interest in commenting, I may get typers cramps in my hands, and dyslexic fingers but I am still trying happily to comment on each one. Why its great when that many people respond because it may show that I did not make too bad a discussion after all.also it does help me to make more money here too as we are paid for all we post. I am not here however just to make some money but because I enjoy mylotting and responding to my friends.

Actually, my discussions are "BORING" by any normal standards. But the input I get - some of it is fantastic! Whenever I feel low, angry, or frustrated - I do visit some of those responses, and feel better. :) So I guess, none of them are really something that I loose interest in, even though they start on BORING note. :) I also do not like what I reply. :) I do read through each and every response. And somehow, I am not able to express myself briefly like you all, without the likelihood of it sounding curt or flippant. So I feel obliged to elaborate like I have done here. :)
