I felt sorry for the poor thing after a while, yet he's not being hurt in any way. But, watch how he walks trying to avoid the balloon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE2r0vjkXK0&feature=player_embedded Poor baby! Has anything like this happened to your cat? How are they with balloons? At the end he just gave in and began to play with what the one person was pulling for him to chase. I'm surprised he didn't sit down and try to rid himself of the "tumor".

Hilarious.... Once one of my cats had a problem with a balloon. He popped it, scared himself, ran downstairs, skidded on the marble floor, right into the piano leg, broke his leg. Poor baby...

OMG - I'm so sorry for your cat! I read your response to my daughter, who isn't all that interested in myLot or anything, but even she was like "awwwwww". I know someone who tied a balloon on the cat's tail and the cat ran and ran and ran and couldn't get away from it. He ended up with a life long fear of balloons. All this cat had to do was give it one good swat and it was a done deal. He didn't seem too concerned, did he?

hi jerzgirl oh how funny and I too felt sorry for the poor cat, yet he was not really being hurt. I kept expecting him to sit on it and hear it go kerboom and the poor kitty getting all scared. I really had a ball'watching this, so funny, I really laughed and needed that tonight.'great choice of videos. loved them both. I once had a black cat do the same thing, and finally he bit the ballon and oh my was he startled, he hissed at it, and meowed as if to s ay that thing tried to bite me. love cats.

I love cats, too. My daughter's cat thinks she's human and acts like a dog at times. She's been chasing Deb around the house playing with her like she's another cat. Earlier today, after my daughter went upstairs to lie down (she's been sick for two days), Tiki decided to jump up on the stair newel (the end piece of the handrail) and then decided to try to walk up the handrail itself (which is rounded and painted with glossy, slick enamel paint). Well, she slipped off, grabbed hold of the rail and then slid down the baluster like a fireman on a pole until her back feet hit the stairs! I laughed at her so hard - she just sat there looking embarrassed. She loves the stairs in this house we moved into. She's getting so much more exercise than where we were living! I just love my critters.

I love it! That cat has some serious attitude. I also watched the video of the cat with the chick. I felt sorry for the cat there. Must have been some serious brushburn to that tail.
