which singer whom you know that can reach a very high note?

it has been a few years back since the first time i listened to the song dedication by vitas. until today i still cannot find any singers who can reach the note that he made in that song. 
for those who have never heard of the singer vitas, or have not heard of his song called dedication, you should hear it now. try to listen from this link below where he sings it LIVE in one of his concert. pay attention to 2:44-2:50 and especially 2:48-2:50.

isn't that amazing? i never heard any other singer who can reach that impossible high note since then (even girl singers). maybe i missed out any incredible singer like him, please do let me know.

I have not heard that song from vitas before.. All i know about his song is, opera no.2.. hehe ^_^ That's where i came to know about his super high pitch, whereby no one else can match it.. haha =D
I will definitely be taking a look at that song, for i like singers will high pitches voices, or those powerful singers.. haha =D They just appeal to me somehow.. hehe

yeah, opera no.2 is already very high but dedication is even higher which almost equals to a glass-breaking high pitch. 
and most importantly is that the video shows he sings it LIVE!!! no trick/mimic/edit!!!

then i think you really have to listen to his song called dedication. opera no.2 still much lower, so i think your expression would be like WwwoOOoOoOOOOOoooOOOooowww.

I have never hear of this singer untill now. I wached some of the vid and this person sounds great. However I am not sure if it is a man or a woman becase it look at a girl to me. but I could be wroug. I do not know of any singer that can hit high notes.

he is a man. he can hit a low & high notes. i never heard any man singer could hit the note as high as he hitted.

the boy called vitas, and he is a russian pop singer who rose to fame in the year 2000. he is notable of a surprisingly high-pitched and energetic use of falsetto.

I've never heard of the singer vitas before. The singer that comes to mind who can hit a very high note is Mariah Carey. When I was young I wanted to sing just like her and was convinced that I could get to a pitch that high as she did in some of her songs but it was never possible. After all these years I'm not so impressed by it anymore. It kind of sounds weird in the songs for her to be kind of singing almost in the pitch of a scream.

yes, it really sounds weird for mariah carey to sing almost in the pitch of a scream in most of her songs. but vitas is different, you can check him out. his whole set of songs is awesome!

Hi, victorywp. This is a very soothing song to listen to. I think that here in the American Whitney Houston is the best female singer that can reach a high note. She has an awesome voice when she sings. As far as a male voice it would be someone like Jodeci, Dru Hill or even Boyz II Men..

yeah, whitney houston and mariah carey too. but don't you think if comparing their high notes with vitas's especially this song, this is so incredibly high. when he sings and drags from 2:44-2:48 i was already like wow, and then from 2:48-2:50 he even goes higher.

Hi victory! That was a WOW! Thanks for sharing it. I didn't even know him before. I just heard him sing right now. Oh! He really got an incredible voice. It's like a voice from heaven. Not to mention the very angelic face.
Here in the Philippines, we have Regine Velasquez. She even got a title of "Asia's Song Bird" because of her high pitch voice.
I guess there are a lot out there too. Some are yet to be discovered,some are still hiding in their shell. We'll I wish they will come out and impress us with their magical voice. Thanks!

you are welcome, meticulo. actually vitas was known because of his amazing high pitch voice. he rose to fame in the year 2000 with his song opera no.2 which is also a song with very high notes in it. but from all his songs that i have heard, i am really impressed by this song dedication. he hit the highest ever note compared with all his other songs.

i know charice pempengco! she has an amazing and powerful voice even at a very young age! and she is a great stage performer too!
but speak about high note/key, i am sure that you have not watch the youtube video that i posted. as i said, pay attention to 2:44-2:50 and especially 2:48-2:50. you can post the link of the high note sung by arnel pineda, regine velasquez, sarah geronimo, charice pempengco, or frenchie dy that you think is higher than this one.
