A scheduled appearance at the University of Wyoming by former Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers, a close associate for years to President Obama, has been canceled over concerns it could be damaging to the school http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=134157 Luckily the conservative voice is getting loud and obnoxious enough! What do you think of the cancellation?

It was the smart thing for them to do. If they had gone ahead with it, it would have damaged the school's reputation.

I am still learning fully about Bill Ayers. I have other committments and posts I am working on this week, but next week I hope to research Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground. I think that the conservative voice should not have drowned up this opportunity. It is possible that Bill is getting a bad rap. I can't say anything until I read more on him, but I will be making some posts about him in full after really getting to know more about him.

I look forward to your posts. I think it is great that you will educate yourself and reserve comment until you know more. I dont, I just run my mouth and make it up as I go along! I understand your point of drowning out his appearance, but I hope after you look at this guy, you understand why a place like Wyoming is not a place for him.

The less people who hear this maroon speak the better. Ayers is a special kind of loon. He gives most on the left a very bad name. I try hard not to associate regular liberals and progressives with him, but I see so few acknowledging that he's a bad guy. And when he is brought up, a lot of excuses are made for both his actions and our President's ties to him. I mean, I don't know of many who are embracing him. But within the progressive culture, he seems to be pretty much accepted as their version of Che.

I wonder how they reconcile having an America hater in government. I have no idea how to make that work in my head. Same with Obama, if America is so bad, I am sure we could take up a collection and get a one way ticket.
