I saw this and my mouth dropped! Reese's PB cups / eggs are one of my absolute favorites. I don't think I've seen these in the store then again I always seem to have a kid with me and then I have to hear the "I want's" I so hate that so I skip that aisle plus it's good for my waistline *LOL* http://www.seriouseats.com/2010/03/reeses-peanut-butter-egg-easter-candy-chocolate.html

i don't know! i was telling the guy behind the counter he might as well shellac that thing and make a paperweight..you'd need a hammer to eat it.

Yeah if you can't fit it into your mouth I don't see much point. But you know maybe there's some kid out there that can take the time to suck on that darn thing all day. It would make a nice paperweight indeed.

WTH does one do with a jawbreaker that big? Hubby has one I'd say that's inbetween a ping pong & tennis ball... I dunno why he bought it? Hmm....

I love peanut butter eggs too, but oh my gosh! That's about a third of a pound of PB egg! That weighs more than a quarter pounder at McDonald's. I can't imagine how many calories are in that thing. I think it would cure me of liking Reece's peanut butter eggs for at least the next five years if not longer. Are there pictures? If so, could you provide us with a link?

There already is a link. But you know I'd like that PB egg much better than a quarter pounder... the pb egg won't give me McGut Rot!

Let me know if you see one. I don't think I'll be going shopping again until after the holiday to snag up the candy deals ;0)

The PB eggs may be snagged up by then, I don't know. They look tasty and no one can resist a Reese's! I don't know when I'll get out either, There is no need for us to shop until Saturday when hubby can just pick up a cake for us for easter.

Oh, I love Reese's Eggs the most. They are my favorite as well. However, I don't think that I would like to have one of the nearly half pound eggs though. I've bought the jumbo ones that are twice the size of the typical eggs and those in and of themselves are too much for me. And, once I start eating one, I have to eat the entire thing before I stop so I know that I would end up making myself sick with one of these. By the way, the place that I saw these for sale was at our local Target.

I don't shop target usually as the closest one is at a terriable intersection. I think 6oz would be too much for one person. Perhaps as a desert on a plate sliced up like a cake?

Absolutely but it would depend on the cost. Heaven knows how much a 6oz pb egg would cost?

Yeah not just the sugar rush.... but my complexion would not be too happy bout it either. That's provided I could keep the kids & hubby's paws off of it!

Just think what a sugar rush it would be. Every chocolate fan would be in heaven for sure.

Every Easter I usually buy a small Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Egg that costs about 50 cents and I think that is plenty rich.I can't imagine buying a 6 oz. egg for myself I would have to share it with somebody. ramsey39

Clearly one would not be able to eat the whole thing on their own or in one sitting. But I think it depends on what your tolerences are for sugar I know I can handle different foods better than hubby & vice versa.

There is a link in my dicussion. Yeah it doesn't mention the calories in it. I'm guessing that would take up most if not all ones alotted calories for the day. I don't think it would cure me but it would take an awful long time to finish that egg.

I love Reese's and so do my kids. I bet they would go crazy over one of these things. I would have to make them share it though because they would both try to eat the whole thing at once.

Talk about a sugar rush, tummy ache & a fight all at the same time when it comes to the kids.
