I still cry every time I watch "The Way We Were". Doesn't matter that I've got the entire thing memorized and I know what's going to happen. I still bawl my head off when Hubbel and Katie see each other in NYC after so many years. Call me sappy or whatever, but I always cry when I watch stories of triumph. Like "Rudy". I cry my eyes out when he's finally put in the game...knowing that at long last his life-long dream has been realized. Sob.....Or when watching "Terms of Endearment". I've seen the film a thousand times. Have it ingrained in my brain and still well up when Debra Winger's character is lying in the hospital bed, looks at her mom (played by Shirley MacClain) and signals that she's leaving. I tear up just thinking about it. Where are my tissues????

"Terms of Endearment" was made in 1983. It's a true classic. Here's a link for it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086425/ It's one of those mother-daughter relationship flicks. I watched it with my Mom and we both bawled! A really good movie. Well made. Good cast, script, production. Really worth watching. "The Way We Were" was made ten years earlier than "Terms". The link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070903/ Probably one of my top 3 movies of all time. Just a great story. Well acted and directed. One that most women can relate to. For either of these movies, make sure to have some tissues nearby (seriously). True classics, both of them. Hope you get a chance to see them!

I am definitely the same as you, many lots of movies had made me cry as long as the movie or some parts of the movie totally touched my heart, include the cartoons,or i had some experience resemble as the role in the movie,i would cry and empathized with the roles in the story. when i watched the Notting hill,i cried when Anna said:i am just a girl,in front of a boy asking him to love me......oh, i cried. and i were also totally moved to tears by the part the chied actor pursued Anna into the press confefence, and asked:how long would you stay in England?and Anna said:forever and with a big smile on her face. when i watched braveheart,i were moved by the dialogue:freedom said by the chief actor when he would be executed.

I don't cry much watching movies, but sometimes there are really good movies that eventhough you don't want to cry, you'll end up crying. Among those i have watched through tears are Titanic and just last week, i watch Hachiko A Dog's Story. Those two really made me cry.

I cry at movies too. Many times I am ashamed at crying when I see a movie at a theater. But then, when the lights return, I can see that I´m not the only one. And I also cry at some animated movies. The last time was when I went with my daughter and her two children (ages 19 and 6) to see The princess and the frog. My grandaughter (19) ended up with tissues while my daughter looked at us as if we were aliens.. Only two days ago I saw on the TV a movie I had seen more than once. "Stepmom". I have seen it several times I I always cry.

Hi Domieniqueer, There were so many movies that made me cry. The one that is timely is "The Passion of Christ". The scene of the scourging at the pillar and the crusifixion really brooke my heart and led me to tears. Another one was "pretty woman" and "music and lyrics".

I recall shedding a tear during a scene in the movie Elf (2003). Don't ask me how nor ask me why. Perhaps someone slipped hormone-altering substances in my afternoon's glass of water...

I a major weeper. A good book, a movie anything that is touchy makes me weep. It can be embarrassing at times when people are around. Pursuit of Happiness was one such movie that made me weep. Specially in the end when he was awarded a job and the way he expressed his happiness was too much for me. I couldn't control then. It is said that the ones who cry, have a heart of gold. And they truly feel it when the others are sad or depressed. Thats what my mum says.
