We all have recurrent dreams at some points in our lives. Some psychologists have postulated that these are the key to our current mental state, or the clue to what we are currently facing, as people. The Bible, on the other hand, treats dreams as the way that God would send messages to His people. An ancient famine was predicted and dealt with via dreams, a Babylonian emperor was predicted to go through a season of madness via dreams, among other signs and wonders that dreams were related to. Personally, dreams marked times in my life that gave a clue to how I should overcome my issues. There were times that deep emotional wounds were given closure by way of dreams, and sin issues in my life were pinpointed by the Lord via dreams. What kinds of recurrent dreams do you have, and how do you feel about them? Thanks for answering!

the only recurring dream I ever had started when I was a small child and, while I had it frequently as a small child, it was down to about once a year until it actually came true when I was 15.

Wow, that's so cool. :) I guess this is one proof that humans really are spiritual beings, and that we are spirit first before being human. I believe that your dream was an indication or a clue about what really had to happen to you. I hope it was good though. Thanks for responding!

I wouldn't know, it was actually such a stupid little thing, some of my classmates running around in bright colored (well it was the very late 1960's) hippy clothes and taking pictures for a class project. My brother was driving us home from school - another gal who went to school there too and me - when he spotted them and turned into one of the kind of driveways and went to talk to them. I was nearly in shock when I realized it was actually seeing my dream!

there was a point in my life a long time ago where i always dream of rats, not every night but have dreamed it many times... never understood what it was, only after i have experienced what the dream means, im not gonna write it down here... last year and this year, im having those kind of dreams again, but this time its different, im dreaming of fishes, colored fishes, catching them... i know they have meanings and there is something that will happen in my life again, and am hoping it will be a better one.

Hmm. In Christianity, fish means people. Remember the Gospel accounts of Jesus exhorting Peter to leave the fisherman's lifestyle and that if Peter follows Jesus, He will make Peter a "fisher of men"? Colors represent variety. So maybe God is giving you a new ministry that would expose you to so many people, different kinds of people to lead to Him? I had to check first if you're Christian and an active one. Well, if how I interpreted your dream speaks to you, then please let me know!

I don't have recurring dreams as such, but they are all linked by a recurring theme...feathers! One of them it was raining feathers, another I was dressed in feathers, another I was laying on a bed of feathers with my girlfriend, and another I was beaten up with a giant feather!

Now I wonder what that means. I don't know if you're a believer, but the only thing I could think of is that feathers seem to represent angels. Or it could mean comfort. But I cannot go further than how it reminds me of angels in your case. :p
