easter egg hunts

so we went to an Easter egg hunt with my little niece today and it was nice out and sunny and warm.
they get all the kids lined up and then they sound a horn and then they all start running after the eggs some of the eggs have prizes, but not very many and since it is free what can you expect.
I think my niece got about 8 eggs, but no prizes inside any of them.
do you like Easter egg hunts?
do you enjoy going to them?
the horn was so fast I didn't even have the video camera ready for when she ran out to go get the eggs, but I think she had fun and that is the main thing an excuse to let them run around.

Of course! I like hunting easter eggs. Last time it's a couples competition. I teamed up with my eleven yr old cousin. It was one of the best hunts ever. Everyone was having fun, especially the kids, it was a blast.

yeah. I guess it's different. Yeah, it was fun. I was running around with a bunch of kids. Lol. Also felt like an idiot though.. Lol.

I love to take my niece to the Easter egg hunt at our church. It is much smaller than most hunts around here so she is able to collect alot of eggs. This year she got 55 egg and all had candy in them. But she gave a few of them away becuase another little girl was in the restroom when the egg hunt started so she only collected a few eggs. It was so cute becuase as we were standing in line outside of the church to go in and count our eggs the little girl was standing with her mom. She had tears running down her cheeks and my niece in her sweet little innocent child's way ask the little girls mom what was wrong, wasn't her daughter having fun at the egg hunt. Needless to say a couple more shared their eggs with this little girl and they all came out having somewhere around 45 eggs a piece. It was so nice to see them sharing.

yeah the one we went to was at our local town park and just in the group of kids that were there I would say there was quite a group there just for the little kids of which my niece would be one of them.
It too bad at this one that they don't have more prizes and that the majority of the eggs are empty and it would be nice if everyone was able to get the same amount of them.
that was nice that your niece asked what was wrong and very nice that they shared with her, because the main thing is that everyone has a good time.
