How Do You Make A Profile Badge For Your Blog/ Website?

Hi everyone,
Could you please help me out how to make a profile badge for my blog... are there any free sites I can do that? I kinda like the badges that have cute toon pics in it for badge exchange. I am so grateful for any suggestion..... thanks everyone!

Please explain, what is profile badge? I have never heard that term before so I am afraid that I would be unable to help. Sorry!

I have been blog hopping today and have seen that you can have badge exchange. You post their badges on your site and you post yours in their, it's another way of linking and exchanging traffic among sites. badges are in html format and it comes out like a pic or avatar to identify your site. That's what I want to find out how to do that so I could trade badges.

So you are saying that a badge is like the little pic of the hillbilly with jug I have on all my posts?
