I have three children and I did get stretch marks after my first and after my third babies births. My second pregnancy didn't give me any stretch marks. I used baby oil on my bump to keep my skin soft and smooth. I ate a healthy diet, took folic acid and took pre-natal vitamin pills. I think coconut oil is gentle and won't be harmful to you in pregnancy. I wish you a lovely time in the rest of your pregnancy and imagine you might be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get stretch marks.

I am not sure if does could help because it is a breakdown of collagen tissues as your tummy enlarged. Ask the dermatologist after you give birth

When you are pregnant it is not like you are destined to have stretchmarks. I am a very slim woman, and have 3 children and there is no stretchmark to be detected on my belly or anywhere else. I think I am one of the lucky ones. And I did not rub coconut oil everyday either. I just rubbed bodylotion once in a while. And by the way your belly is not the only place where you can get stretchmarks, also on your boobs, because they will grow too. Congratulations with your pregnancy.

The well known method for preventing stretch mark is by using cocoa butter. I used Cocoa butter body butter by the body shop during my pregnancy and it worked really well. I have no stretch mark on my belly at all. But the worst part is I forgot to use it on my thighs, and they ended up with "ancient carvings"
