Messi killed the gunners hope of conquering Europe this season by scoring 4 goals last night.I wonder if gallas and song are available. It would be much more of a fair fight but credits to messi for taking his chances well. There i nothing almunia can do about it.A great show by the best player in the world.

I think that I had predicted a Barcelona win in one of the discussions here in mylot.Truly the form Messi is in right now is absolutely unparallel and there is every possibility that the ensuing 2010 world cup in South Africa will be Messi's as the 1986 World Cup was Maradona's.It appers that Messi is improving with every game and I don't think that Gallas and song would have been able to make a difference. However,I do believe that the margin could have been reduced if they had played.Well done Messi.

Im rooting for Argentina to win the world cup this year,if Messi stays the way he has been in the couple of weeks,Argentina will do great with the likes of tevez and aguero in the team.Lets see how Maradona inspires Messi to do what he did.

I don't think Messi needs inspiration from Maradona or anybody to perform .The kind of form that he is in right now is enough to help Argentina win the world cup. What Maradona can do is he can provide Messi with a strong midfield line up and only hope that Messi's terrific form continues during the months of June and July.

Hi razim, It does not matter if Gallas and Song are available because we can not turn back the time. If, just if, both of them play, they might stop Messi from scoring all four goals but there are a lot more Barcelona players who is capable to do so. They score might be different but the margin might be bigger or smaller. There is no doubt about Messi ability and there is no defender can stop him when he hit his top. His moves were smooth and brilliant. That's why he is the best footballer in the world. But he can do all of that because of the support from other Barcelona players. So, Arsenal need to concentrate fully on the quest to conquer the English Premier League title to avoid ending season without any trophy for the fifth season in row.

Hi, what u said are absolutely right.Barcelona is indeed the greatest team and everyone of them is top class footballer.Messi did a good job by not wasting all those chances.I think its going to Chelsea or Manu fot the title since Arsenal suffered a lot of injuries in the last couple of weeks. As an Arsenal fan ,im proud to see how they battled against the critics to show them that Arsenal are capable of mounting a strong challenge for the title.

Messi was brilliant yesterday. No wonder he is the World and Euro footballer of the year. Scoring 4 goals and 3 of them in a single half against one of the top European teams, is fantastic. And his goals were sublime especially the first one. I did not even see where he got the space to take the shot, and Almunia had no chance!! Cheers! Ram

Exactly! the first goal was blasted very well that even any better goalkeeper could not do anything about it.Yeah, no arguments about why he won so many awards.
