Do you share your smile to strangers?

Hello friends!Whenever I am walking at the malls, along the road or somewhere else,there are times when strangers just stare at me and then I couldn't help myself but just look at them too and share them a smile.Though I could say not to everyone.I also try to look first and when the stranger is polite looking then that's the time a smile would escape from myself.But if in some cases the stranger looks rude of course I just look a bit and then look away.How about you here? Do is it a habit for you to smile to strangers or not?

Well, When I see a small kid whom I don't know, I smile and that come back to me too sometimes and I feel so good. I don't smile to someone whom I feel is not good to smile on. But if any old woman smiles at me I definitely give back my smile, seems like she is my grand mother..
Smiling at strangers happens at that split-second when you glance into their face as you walk by. I didn't even think before I smiled at that that woman. But let you know that I don't have the habit of smiling at strangers. Thanks

well it depends on how they look.. if they look polite i say "hi" or "good morning" then smile.. but sometimes when i see a sad person.. i say good morning just to cheer them up.. one of my senior officemate told my boss that ever since i joined the company i spread smile all over the office.. they think im contagious in good way.. so i guess that's good way to start a day..

At my job, I work retail, I have to smile at hundereds of strangers a day whether I want to or not. Most of them don't return my smile.
When I'm out on my own, I smile at anyone who I happen to make eye contact with when I pass them. MOST of them smile back.

Hi drangonangel,
It happens with me too. Sometimes when we share a smile, my huband asks whether I know that person or not. It is so strange that what made us both smile..but smile we did! i do not like people staring at me so whne they do i stare back which is enough for them to stop doing that.

i dont really give smile to anyone specially to strangers as it might be dangerous as what if i smile to the guy who think i like him and will took that opportunity. though its not bad to look at people but not to smile even if they will smile towards me but as long as i dont know them then no way.

No i dont do that generally.I avoid smiling towards stranger.Well it depends i think .If that person seems ok to me...person having friendly personality then i dont have problem in sharing smile.There are some people who seems like jerk form their personality.I avoid even looking at those people.

As far as I am concerned, I think I am a person who are usually very kind to people no matter I know them or not.I think I will usually smile to people,so that I still can recieve that smile from the stangers. So please be smiling to others. have a nice day.

Of course,i always smile to strangers,especilly when they have eye exchanging with me,i think it is polite and if you can smile oftenly,you can get more happiness!

yes , i do.but first judging the person just like you .Sharing smile to rude people gives me a wierd feeling inside.I know a smile is contagious but it depende on other person's attitude too.

I don't smile to strangers, but I admit there are times too that I smile at the. Like in the dressing room, while waiting for my turn and the woman before me is done I smile.
Or to some people who help you and you dont know them actually like you dropped something and a stranger called your attention. Stuffs like that, but beyond that kindness I don't smile at strangers.

When I am out in public, I am usually happy to greet a passerby with a smile and a hello. Especially if they look unhappy or miserable. Then I really want to give them a positive dose of my happiness.
It is I guess a habit to smile at strangers. I have no problem with that at all.
When I am at, say the pool, swimming, it is not like I would smile at everyone but when I am out walking or at the store shopping, when the opportunity presents itself, I am usually smiling and do say hello.

Yes!its a habit for me.I feel good if i smile,so i tend to smile to every chance that i have.Smiling at strangers also a good impression of who you are but im not the psycho type who smiles to every strangers.I usually go for the old folks and share them a smile. =)

hello!i never share my smile to strangers.i share it to my love man who let me happy.when i met he/she on my go back home way who i don't know much perhaps he/she is a bad man who hurt me.
