Do you actually log out when using facebook or just x out of the site all together? I never seem to log out and just x out of the site and no matter what when i sign back in another hour later i have to fully sign in like i did log out. I am just wondering if you think it is saffer to log out completely or just x it out, or does it really matter at all?

If I am at my personal work computer or at home I will just hit the X. If I am at another computer I will make sure I log out just for safety reasons because I don't want to take a chance of someone going into my page.

if you are the only one who has access to your computer then it's okay not to completely log off but if there are other people who might have access it then it would be safe to log off. as for me i can be logged on forever whenever my computer is on, thanks to clixsense tool bar.

Hi lologirl, When I used to play a lot of games on facebook I always used to log off because it would ensure I wouldn't get killed much when I was away. Now that I have stopped playing the games, have moved to my own place, and have a smaller friend base I leave it open because there is no reason to log off now there is no one to see anything or no reason for anyone to try and kill me! It also means I can pop on for a quick game of Bejewelled without going through the hassle of logging back in each time lol. I am not sure it makes much of a difference overall either unless there are people around who you think are likely to spy on what you have been doing! Or you are playing things like Vampire Wars and want to be safe while you are away from the game. All the best, Dranz

I usually just close my browser too, but since I don't check the 'remember me' box I always have to sign in too. I don't think it really matters if you log out, unless you share your computer & don't want other people seeing your facebook page.
