American Idol - Shocking Results

I watched American Idol tonight and couldn't believe that Mike Lynch and Aaron Kelly were in the bottom three. Then Aaron was saved and it was between Mike and Andrew Garcia. So my thinking was it was going to be Andrew. I found him a bit boring and not someone with any type of personality. Well low and behold Andrew is told he will be here next week. Mike has to sing for the judges. Mike does an outrageous job singing as his wife is in the audience crying. Thankfully the judges decide to use their one save for the season on Mike. So next week two contestants will be going home. Which if its on their performances I think it should be Andrew Garcia and Tim Urban. Did you watch and if so what did you think of the results.

I didn't really expect that Big Mike will (almost) get the boot because he was certainly NOT one of the worst. I thought Aaron or Andrew would go home because their performances was just... ...errrr.
Though Mike sang his heart out, I do not think he deserves the save. I don't know --- I'm just not on the Mike love train even though I love the genre that he's singing. I think Didi deserved the save more than him even though her performance of "What Becomes of a Brokenhearted" was a hot mess.

I thought he deserved the save even though I'm not a Big Mike Big Fan. I like him but I like Crystal, Sioblan and Casey better. So I'm glad we got rid of the save and we don't have to deal with it anymore.

Exactly. That is the brighter side of using the save on Big Mike. I just hope that the "right people" would be eliminated come the results night.

Yes next week it will be two people and I think it will be either Andrew and Tim or Andrew and Katie. I think Big Mike has a better voice then both Andrew and Tim.

I think sioban magnus is quite hanging on the line.. based on the elvis week, tim urban did a good job, andrew garcia still turned out as a disappointment, he used to be my favorite though, now I'm shifting to Lee dewyze, I think in the finale, it would be a battle between Lee and Crystal, that would be so cool. and I think the two contestants who will be eliminated this week is gonna be Andrew and Katie, Aaron Kelly is also a possibility..

You were right about Andrew Garcia but "Big Mike" survived and wasn't even in the bottom three. And what a performance by Adam Lambert! Too bad about Katie Stevens. I liked her rendition of Let It Be.

Oh that is funny because my mom and I are beginning to feel that way. Most of all the minorities are gone. There is only Mike and Andrew and I bet Andrew will be going tonight. We shall see.

Well, Idol's gonna be aired still tonight here in the Philippines. I'm not surprised of Aaron Kelly being in the bottom three because his performance last night was not good. I'm glad that he's not the lowest vote-getter. Kind of surprised for Michael Lynch, though. Glad that he's still in the game. I hope Aaron will be great next week. I want him to be part of the finale.

Sorry that I gave it away before you could see it. I should have waited till tomorrow to post this. Me and my mom like Aaron too. I think the last two standing at the end of it all will be Crystal and Sioblan.

It's ok. Actually I first learned about it in IdolNews' post in Twitter. I'm glad that you and your mom also like Aaron. For me he's like David Archuleta who's talent and career are budding and growing each week. He's the one I always look forward to every week.

I wish andrew garcia went home last night.For me he's the worst singer in the show.Plus cant he just take his glasses off?He looks weird to me lol

I so agree with both of you dazzle89 and RBNLOVESPOH - When it was Mike and Andrew I thought for sure it was Andrew going home I couldn't believe it. He has not a bit of personality when singing at all.

I wasn't surprised about Mike because I thought last night's performance by him wasn't that good. The worrisome thing is next week with two people getting voted off, the pressure will be even greater on the contestants. And sometimes the voting goes haywire, so I hope the judges didn't use their "save" on Mike only to have someone even better than him go home. Always a risk.
I think Mike is still in trouble unless he comes up with a great performance next week. Then again, they all are.

Well the problem with Mike is he picked the wrong song. However, I do believe he has a great voice one that is better then Tim or Andrew. So we shall see what happens next week. I believe Mike will be ok next week because people seem to like him alot. I didn't vote for him because I thought he was going to be ok. Now I know I have to vote for everyone that I want to continue in the competition.

Yes, I totally agree! He picked the wrong song. True, he does have a great voice. I was so shocked when he was included in the bottom three. Never saw that coming.

I thought that Andrew, Aaron and Tim would be in the bottom three. I didn't pick Mike, because people like him. Personally, I don't. I was surprised when Andrew got saved and Mike was on the block. I think the judges made a mistake by saving Mike. It just means two will have to go this next week, and Mike could be going again. Crystal is still my favorite.

No it won't be Mike. It will be Andrew with either Tim or Katie. Mike just picked the wrong song. He has a great voice and his alot better then Andrew or Tim I think.

I am expecting that the bottom three for this week would be Aaron, Andrew and Tim. It's really a shocking result that mike got the lowest vote compared to andrew, 'coz mike lynch performance is better than andrew garcia. But that's AI,we never know who will be heading home or not until the votes are counted. :) But gladly the judges have opted to use the SAVE.. Have a nice day!

I didn't vote for Mike because I thought he was not in danger of any kind. Now I Know I can't take that for granted. I have to continue to vote for the people I want to see continue in the competition.

tim urban should have been sent home last week. i think it was aaron who poorly performed this week and me too was shocked that big mike had the least vote. but anyways my men are still on it- casey and lee so whatever is the result as long as its not my guys who's goin home, its okay...lol have a great day lelin! =)

I agree that it should have been tim urban but I think a majority of the younger girls are keeping him on because of his looks. I keep saying its a singing competition not a beauty contest. Tim should have been gone a while ago. I believe it will be him and Andrew this week to be cut.
