Busy, busy, busy!

I have been busy all week with yard/garden work. Today this is one area that I mulched. Never added mulch around this tree as there were no flowers realy till last year. Anyhow do you spend a whole day in your yard doing chores often? This photo shows my Red Maple tree out front with day lilies and hostas which are just popping up.

Usually spend the whole day when we are prepping beds and doing our planting. Otherwise I do watering and weed pulling as I have the chance during the day.

I no longer have a yard as I have moved into an apartment complex a few months ago. Oh how I miss having a yard! Thank Goodness I can still enjoy playing in the earth at my mom's house!I usually go to her house when the weather is nice and I have a day off from work. I love doing her yard work for her!

Your hostas are popping up already? I checked mine today and nothing, then again I didn't look underneath the dry leaves.. So far the most yard work I've done is cleaning up dog dirt..
I actually need top remove this branch that broke when we got hit with a big snowstorm this year, and then do some clearing out. I also want to make my berry plots bigger to make room for more plants and I have started some sage inside.
