I am a christian, I believe in God and should I believe in Miracles? My answer is YES, I believe in Miracles! But not like the parting of the sea, water in to wine, walking on water. I believe on small kinds. Like overcoming cancer and surviving a near death experience. My life is an example of a miracle. We were left alone by ourselves by our father. No one to take care of us, even to give us food. Just me and two brothers. And yet, we were able to survive and finish school. For all those nights, storms, earthquakes, how can three little kids survived? I knew someone out there is looking over us, protected us on all those horrible nights. Do yo believe in Miracles?

Before I can answer your post I need to know more about your miracle! Why did your father leave you and your brothers? How old were you when he left? Were you the oldest child. Where did you get food. Did you live in your fathers house all the time. Where was your Mother? Did your relatives help you? Who cooked your food, and did the shopping. Where did you get the money to live on? Did you have electrical power in the house? Did your teacher know you had no Parents at home?

we worked. sell stuff. my mom left to work abroad but wasn't able to reach us until I turned 16. My dad left us with his step-mom who was awful to us. Gave us the room where they put their old stuff. She gave their food remains and spoiled ones. are you satisfied on my elaboration???

It is very difficult to respond to a post that has very little information. I do not respond unless I have the information necessary to make an interesting response. When you post, you will make more money, if you make a story out of it. Try to give all the details that are necessary to make a good response. Thanks!

Yes, I believe in miracles large and small. I have seen many in my life and hope to see many more before it is over. Just being where I am at the moment is a huge miracle. When my husband became disabled, we were guided to move to PA. I am surrounded by neighbors and friends who go out of their way to help in every way they can and they do it without being asked. I feel loved and happy instead of alone.

I do believe in miracles and I believe that if people believe in miracles then they can happen for them as well. Miracles can very much happen today and is a live today. People just have to believe. I have experienced and seen so many miracles and that's what makes me believe in them.

Miracles do happen to our lives everyday. The chances for life, our safe return to home, safe trips, good news & all the wonderful things that we see and experience everyday are little miracles we sometimes overlook and expect as natural occurrences. Yes, your survival amidst turbulence was indeed a miracle. Thanks God for saving you and your brothers! God is praiseworthy of all great wonders He do for us everyday!

i am a new Christian too it so hard to define what miracle is well God's knowledge is beyond human knowledge so miracles maybe different from His point of view. for me, miracles are the working invisible hands of God in our life not those what human knows about miracles. it is more of a response to our faith and by grace of God.

Yes I do believe in miracles! I like to think of miracles as God helping us out. Everytime I hear a story about a miracle it re-enforces my belief in God.

I don't know if I believe in miracles that happen in the blink of an eye! However, having said this I think there is something going on in this Universe that we just do not understand! Whether you call it a superior intelligence, creative energy, something is definitely going on! I'm frustrated that I don't have any answers so I can only speculate. Your situation sounds very unique and all credit to you for having survived such terrible circumstances. I think I'm likely to believe in the kind of miracles that you describe, overcoming cancer, surviving against the odds and so forth. If you think of a place like Lourdes where countless miracles are supposed to have taken place, well I'm very sceptical about that. Andrew

a big YES to believing in miracles. I think miracles happen every single day, sometimes we just fail to notice them. life is a miracle in itself. I think we all have our own little miracles.

We need not to ask for any miracles, the mere fact that we wake up each and every morning of our lives is the greatest miracle of all.

struggle for existence. we should have to struggle. Is there some person helps at that age.. just like giving money or join to school. It's good to believe in god, because at that time there is no one to help to you , you and your brother were alone....people are selfish.. If people are in trouble they remember god... any way...thanks,... be good...god is there ... don't feel let yourself alone... i think it's not a miracle...happen in your life.. there are more difficult situations in others also... it's great, that you give thanks to god. if we have faith with god, then god is really there to help you. thanks -vine.

Yes I have seen many happen in my life, my daughter had pnemonia when small and was in the hospital, prayers went out, she was anointed. We left the hospital in less than 5 hours and she was perfectly well and normal. We left doctors scratching heads and consulting charts. One said it has to be an act of God. Right now I am need of a financial miracle my upper right back molar just sheared off, leaving 3/4 of a tooth and the filling. It is exposed, not hurting much but a little. I have NO insurance, no medical and no money to get it fixed. I have 3 other teeth needing attention too. I need an appointment tomorrow but no one will take me in without cash up front of $1500 and I don't have it. So need pray for a miracle or I will be in even more pain. We have tried and we have gone places and had some care but one place can't get me in for 3 weeks and the other for two I need it done tomorrow ASAP and only regular dentists will let me in but not without money I don't have and no in my family has. One will maybe do repair and want to cap it but that will cost me over $3500 and don't have that either. I can maybe get it pulled for $200 but then no back teeth on top to chew with on either side of my mouth. So not sure what to do. Just pray and trust and hope for a miracle

I believe in miracles, and in my definition, a miracle is something that is impossible by man's standards. So if someone cannot walk because he does not have legs, getting crutches is not a miracle, getting an artificial limb is not a miracle. For me, growing a new leg is a miracle. The same with infertility. So if a woman cannot have children because she has no ovaries, an ovary growing inside would be a miracle, if her tubes are damaged and nothing can be done, growing a new tube would be a miracle. Someone who has cancer and without any help from the surgeon, that cancer suddenly disappears, that is a miracle.

No, I don't believe in miracles. Things don't happen magically, but are the result of our efforts. I don't think that you and your two brothers survived without doing any effort, am I wrong? Everyone is free to believe whatever he/she wants to, so I'm not against others believing in miracles if that makes them happy
